September 17, 2009 New Music: Jojo – You Take Me (Around The World)
I honestly have no idea what’s going on with Jojo’s album. She recently filed a lawsuit against her label asking for $500,000 and to be released from her contract due to the fact that her label can’t seem to get their stuff together so she can release her seriously delayed All I Want Is Everything album. Anyways, a brand new track surfaced online called “You Take Me (Around The World)” and it samples Daft Punk’s “Around The World.” I absolutely love this song. I don’t know why Jojo is still so underrated because she’s super duper talented.

I am a huge fan of Jojo and I’ve been with her since the self-titled album; however, this song…for me…is a flop. I don’t like it all. I’ll wait to hear another single from the up-coming album before I give the whole thing a thumbs down.

I don’t care what the others think, but I love this song! It’s a different sound for Jojo, but I really love her voice so I don’t really care what she sings. Hope she can get her label stuff straightened out soon. Love you Jojo!!!!!
