September 16, 2009 Mariah Carey: Eminem “I don’t even know who that is.”
Mariah Carey was live on the phone from New York on the French NRJ morning show Le 6-9 Wednesday morning, Sept. 16th. During the show one of the hosts brought up whether or not “Obsessed” (which is currently #7 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Chart) is about Eminem.
Mariah responded: “I don’t even know who that is. [Laughter] I wrote the song and I’m very happy with it. And I’m happy with my new album. So I don’t know if somebody wants to write their little songs. I haven’t heard them on the radio, I don’t know what’s going on with that. They don’t seem to play them here in America. I’m not sure so I don’t know.”
I know that’s right Mimi that’s exactly how I would have responded because he’s a “mom and pop” and you’re a “corporation.”

MC:I wrote that song for all the people who have ever been in a situation where somebody’s obsessed with them and they keep texting them and bothering them and telling people that they had a relationship with them and lying about them. So it’s for everybody – all the people in the world who have ever been annoyed by somebody.

MC: The song is about somebody being obsessed with me or if you really, like I said it’s for the other people, so I wrote it for like, let’s say there’s a girl or a boy in like 8th grade, somebody in that class wants to be annoying and mean to them, and they’re obsessed with them, they just keep bothering them for no reason, that’s what…

I don’t think eminem killed her. dats all a dude knows how to do, when it comes to responding to an offensive statement by a woman, is call her all kinda bitches, hoes, and say he fucked her.
mariah could’ve found a better way to respond to that statement, but still..in my opinion…she got a leg up this round. now if he comes out with a real phone convo or video..then yeah, she’s fucked (literally and figuratively)

Dee, the reporter guy asked about Eminem, Mariah didn’t initiate the statement or his name.
I commend MCC for not even going further and acknowledging Feminem, when people ask about him she doesn’t even mention nor acknowledge his existence.
also in the interview she slammed him saying she never hear his music, lmao, cos neither do I. He is dropping her name left and right, and has been for the past 7-9 years, its pathetic, he even did so back in ‘05 when she was making “The Emancipation of Mimi’ he was suppose to have a song about her then and she had the record company come in and stop it..but he continues to use her because he is miserable and see’s that she is happy and in love, she’s moved on and doesn’t dwell and look on the past, he needs to leave Mariah alone and move on.

Bscott only posted a portion of the whole interview, Mariah did not bring up Eminem they were discussing her new single and Michael Jackson, AND THEN the interviiew started asking her about Obsessed. At first she just gave the answer of course that its not about anyoen specific AND THEN the interview brought up Eminem and thats how she responded. So how is it SHE is still talkign about Eminem its not like brought him up. PUH LEAZEEEEE! I hear her songs on the radio not his. She doesn’t need to smack talk for record sales.

Those DJ’s kept trying to sway the conversation to that slime bucket Feminem and Mariah the professional that she is slapped them off of the subject. The a$$hole french dj’s persisted and pushed, so she gave them an answer that let them know to move the F8ck on! That’s how she answers about Jlo or any other irrelevent beefs the press try to keep going. The press needs to make slime bucket Eminem like the fool he is. They clown Kany for being a fool which he is and Eminem is no different. Mariah writes and performs hit music. She aint giving that Clown the time of day.
