September 16, 2009 Hate It or Love It? Kelly Rowland in Tracy Reese

Kelly Rowland hit up the Tracy Reese fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Bryant Park on Monday. She wore a red and black Tracy Reese Fall 2009 laced dress paired with a feathered hat and black ankle strap sandals. Love muffins, what do you think of Kelly’s outfit?
Do we hate it or love it?

hate it (but LOVE kelly) ~ imo, she’s just not shining in that weird orange-red color. other than that, tho, it’s a cute dress, etc.

The dress is nice, but I had to give it a hate because the way she accessorized. The dress looks great on the model.

The cut of the dress is not for Kelly it’s too long to be the right short dress and to short too be the right mid-length dress for the season. The sleeveless bodice makes it look cheaper than the designer intended…we needed more up to date accessory choices to glam-up this piece.

I think the dress is not the right cut for the season or for Kelly. It’s too long for to be the right short dress and to short to be the right midlength dress. The pattern gives the illusion of stiffness. It doesn’t move with the body it confines the dimensions of the body. The sleeveless bodice could have been modernized and there really needed to be a more advanced accessory variety. Perhaps without the hat, but what ever happened to gloves as a choice? That would have glammed this up!

It’s accessorized but not too much. The accessories definitely compliment each other. I think she pulled it off well. Unfortunately it’s not her best look.
