First, Janet Jackson comes out and delivers one of the best performances I’ve seen in a long time, and now she has given us a gift! “Make Me” was just released via her website when you sign up for her newsletter. Her VMA MJ tribute performance reminded me how much I love Janet and how much I’m anticipating her next project. What better time to drop a new song? I absolutely love this song…it’s classic Janet at her finest! Doesn’t this song just make you feel good? It looks like I’ll be up all night getting my shimmy and shake on!

I LOVE THIS SONG. IT REMINDS ME OF HER SONG “COME ON GET UP” FROM ALL FOR YOU CD & “R&B JUNKIE” FROM DAMITA JO CD MIXED TOGETHER. YOU CAN ALSO TELL IT WAS INSPIRED BY SOME EARLY MJ MUSIC. NOW THIS IS A GOOD JANET UPBEAT RECORD.

Ok why am I the only person disappointed in Janet’s tribute? You can’t even really call it a Janet showing Tribute to Michael. They should have just said back up dancers showing tribute to Michael because Janet barely did anything. I was soo looking forward to Janet recreating different Michael Jackson videos and not just Scream. I love me some Janet but dayum, wish she did more!

Janet is in the building…she never left, she just needed to wake you all up!! I for one think B Scott needs to do the Paw, Paw to MAKE ME in his next video. This is such a vibrant and uplifting song. It makes you feel good. I own all of Janet’s albums and I enjoyed Damita Jo to Discipline (unlike many people), but not even Enjoy from 20 Y.O. makes me feel as good as MAKE ME!! This is one of her best works!

Great song!!! Definitely love the tribute and the single and this is the classic, vintage Janet I have been missing….by the way Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis produced this for her, not Jermaine. He was a big part of the problem for her miserable sales with the last two albums as he did not understand her as an artist.. Great to finally have Janet back with her team that was very instrumental in her career and that knows her sound. Expect great things from her from this new album!!!

Love the song. By the way everyone this song is produced by Rodney Jerkins, the same guy that produced her “Feedback,” “Roller Coaster,” and “Luv” (which was my favorite Janet track from her Discipline CD. Just bought my copy from Amazon. Looks like Janet is back with A&M… full circle transition. Here’s looking forward to a new hot Janet CD.
