September 14, 2009 Donald Trump Says Boycott Kayne West
Well we all knew it was only a matter time before Donald Trump had something to say about Kayne West’s MTV VMA outburst last night. Trump is calling for a boycott of all things Kanye West because of his “disgusting” antics last night.
Trump wants everyone to boycott Kanye “so this kind of thing doesn’t happen again.” Trump also thinks Kanye’s outburst wasn’t to honor Beyonce. “He couldn’t care less about Beyonce. It was grandstanding to get attention.”
What Kayne West did was igornant and wrong but would you go that far?

His behavior was juvenile, but I don’t believe I would go that far. A ban on all things Kanye us a bit extreme. It almost makes me want to ask the question of whether or not this would be his request had it been another artist. Maybe he should be banned from awards shows for awhile until he proves himself worthy of attendance. But let’s not ban everything.

YES, i would got that far.
i think kanye’s comment was not only ignorant, but it was very immature. he is a grown man, and to act like a child was terrible. taylor swift deserved to finish her speech, and because of his immaturity, she couldnt PROPERLY do it.”
i havent liked kanye really since the beginning; he’s always been very cocky, and conceited. nothing about that would make me wanna listen to his music, or hear anything he has to say.
i APPLAUD beyonce for doing what she did for taylor. that showed a true act of unselfishness, and it was very sweet.

He’s right. There’s too many ungrateful celebrities out there and too many hungry artist trying to break in the game for Kanye to act foolish at the expense of his image. He’s fake like most others in the entertainment game and at the end of the day it’s about exposure for some of these people at any expense. If fame is that important to him and he doesn’t care about looking/being a clown then go for it.

Kanye was only saying what was going through everyone’s mind or what we would have thought after she got off stage when taylor won ! so i don’t understand why everyone is making a big deal ! GET OVER IT ! it’s Kanye West like lets be seriosu what did you expect ppl don’t change unless they are ready ! and obviously Amber Rose has no control or affect on his actions no one does so move on.

I couldn’t care less about Donald Trump’s opinion. I really couldn’t. Because he has nothing to do with pop culture, and he almost literally has zero influence in anything outside the world of finance.
Besides that, where was the boycotting when someone called our president a liar on live television last week? Where was that huge boycott? Oh thats right, there wasn’t one.

Although Kanye was clearly wrong for his outburst, Donald Trump needs to sit down somewhere and focus his energy on his combover instead of Kanye.

Boycotts are usually for a just cause – what would be the purpose of this one? Much like Kanye, Trump is using the same shameless tactics to get attention. Both men should grow up.

I knew it was only a matter of time before hollyweird wrote him off. He deserves it but where was trump when joe said you lie to Obama mmm interesting? Beyonce to deserve the award but to get on stage how uncouth. If you agree with what he did you have no class.

I really don’t think it that deep. I think that if this keeps going on it could become a race topic!!!!! It’s about 2 steps away from becoming one!!! Everyone needs to stop now while we are ahead!!!

Kanye was wrong…I have never liked him but I don’t have the time nor energy to spend precious time trying to avoid all things Kanye. When I see him, I just say….How Dreadful.
I don’t think it’s black vs. white at all. However I think it’s a BIG issue because Taylor is only 17 years old. She is a child. So that made it even worse.
And for the IGNORANT responder who said he didn’t say anything but what others were thinking. – You are so ignorant. – The fact of the matter is NO ONE ELSE jumped on the stage and snatched the mic out of her hand.
Damn if somebody was going to jump up AT LEAST let it be one of the ladies who was nominated for the award. Not Kanye’s late ass.

I understand where Mr. West was coming from [he's very emotional] but that doesn’t give him the right 2 think he can do watever he wants. There’s a time & place 4 everything. He’s a tru Artist & is very particular about his industry. Get over it! U can never fight ignorance w/ ignorance.
Yes, he was a bit under the influence, which thus makes my argument even stronger. Theres a place and time for everything, and his inhibitions were alot loose – he got too emotional. Every1 knows he’s convinced he’s Contemporary Hip-Hop Royalty!!!
Jay-Z = The King
Beyonce = The Queen
Kanye = The Duke / Not yet the Prince (That’s Weezy)

I think what Kanye did was childish and stupid. What would make a persone do such a thing. Beyonce did have a lot of class for letting Taylor finish.
hi hater
September 14, 2009 at 3:23 pm
I agree with what Kanye said ,but i don’t agree with where and when he said it.
MTV awards is so rig its disgusting. How the fvk Britney won best pop video over single ladies or poker face. Last year the gave Britney 2 awards for just showing up. lots of ppl want to say what Kanye said but don’t have the ball to do it
would you believe Thriller never won best video nor Janet Jackson rhythm nation never even got nominated. MTV is shady the don’t respect black artist and their craft.

I truly admire Kanye’s candidness…I love when people speak their true feelings. Boy, what would the world be like if we all spoke our true feelings. I wonder…I love it, I love it. Old man Donald need to sit his ass down in a corner somewhere…now that’s a man I honestly despises. Team Kanye!!

this is so out of control. it was not that serious. kanye was a bone head for what he did, but its not like he hurt taylors career. if anything this will benefit her. the bigger issue is why is everyone so up in arms over this and not the situation with a sitting president being disrespected on national tv in front of his congress. i think we all have to remember this is entertainment and nothing more. when i begin to see that their is a white backlash for a black man for something that was not that traumatic, i take offence.
ps – just a question. if this happened on bet to keri hilson would everyone be so up in arms and calling for boycotts, and people saying they want to hurt him (read corey harts and other d-lists tweets)? just something to think about.

Kanye West was a Douche bag last night plain and simple. Seems like hes craving attention and this is what he has to stoop too get it. He needs to grow up, Taylor Swift deserved that honor. Kanye you need to grow up dude, and get a life.

I don’t know about banning him but something should be done. I mean every award show I’ve seen Kanye on he jumps on stage and acts a pure fool.

I called for a boycott last night. I am glad to see the support for such a boycott. I support Donald Trump’s effort. This guy has to go the way of the Dixie Chicks and Senead O’Connor. He is pure trash as a human being.

Kanye is an egotistical maniac… who would want to support someone who thinks he is the next Jesus Christ? He obviously is a delusional schizophrenic and probably should just get the help he needs… maybe give up on the whole ‘music’ thing.
