September 12, 2009 Mariah Does Vegas + Recreates ‘Butterfly’ Era!

Mimi pulled out all the stops last night during the first of four shows as a part of a limited engagement at the Pearl Theatre at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The three remaining shows are on September 12th, October 9th, and October 10th. The set list was a mixture of both old hits such as “Always Be My Baby,” “Honey,” “Obsessed,” and “We Belong Together,” and she debuted a few new songs off of Memoirs….
Mariah looked amazing! I’m totally loving the throwback curls and the more natural appearance she’s been rocking lately. One fan recorded her live performance of a brand new track called “Angels Cry.” From what I can tell she sounded great. I just can’t wait for this album!
