September 8, 2009 Janet Jackson’s VMA Michael Jackson Tribute
UPDATE: MTV.COM has confirmed the performance!
According to TMZ, Janet Jackson will be performing in a show-stopping tribute to her brother Michael. The performance is set to feature 20 backup dancers and was choreographed by famed choreographers Frank Gatson and Travis Payne. Choreographer Wade Robson also posted a bulletin to his MySpace page saying:
“WADE ROBSON, MIA MICHAELS, BRIAN FRIEDMAN, CRIS JUDD, TRAVIS PAYNE, TINA LANDON, DAVE SCOTT, TYCE DIORIO, JERRY SLAUGHTER, LAURIE ANN GIBSON & GIL DULDULAO ARE PERFORMING WITH JANET JACKSON ON THE MTV VMA AWARDS ON SEPTEMBER 13TH IN TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON.”
Love muffins, I really think if this is true, then this is definitely going to be something to remember for years to come. Make sure you tune in to MTV this Sunday, September 13th at 9pm EST!

OMG This is gonna be soooo hot!!!! TAPE this (lol VHS) or record it on DVD!!! OMG this will be a performance to remember? Where is Paula Abdul??? She should totally be in it… Anyways.. with Janet! and all of those top choreographers… I expect – NO, I KNOW this performance will so clean, freakin flawwwwwwwlesssss! UGH i can’t wait!!! wooohooo!
