September 1, 2009 Hate It or Love It? Ashley and Mary-Kate in Maison Michel

The Olsen twins attended the ‘Opening Ceremony’ Japan flagship store reception party this past weekend in Tokyo. Ashley wore a black dress by The Row with a tan coat. She accessorized her look with Maison Michel Mickey Mouse Ears Lace Hair-Band ($422.53) and Prada Studded T-Strap Heels. Mary-Kate rocked the Maison Michel Rabbit Ears ($422.53) with her ruffled Toga dress and Prada Python Patchwork Sandals ($481.73).
What do you think of the Olsen Twins’ lace ears? Madonna and Lady Gaga have also been recently spotted wearing rabbit ears with their ensembles.
Do you hate or love this new trend?

What IS there to love about the Olsen twins? And the animal ears are obviously a cry for attention.

Hate it! Rabbit ears look cute on babies, not grown folks!

Those are fine when you’re at Disneyworld/land, five years old or Lady Gaga (at a CONSTANT costume ball). Otherwise, they just look a bit crazy.

i REALLY like the ears, LOL. they are light years beyond the more free-form LV ones ~ very real-life wearable, imho.

I kind of like them, as well as the Olsen twins. They stay famous, and in the spotlight without really doing ANYTHING.

It’s different, but I’m not a fan of it. Outside of Lady Gaga, I don’t really like the cooky looks that celebs these days are wearing. I feel like Lady Gaga was different from the moment she entered the music biz. Everybody else just kind of changed it up and followed suit. I’m not calling anybody a swag-jacker but when I see other people doing it, its like no, cooky and different, or creative and artistic doesn’t really work for some of them, most of them.
