August 31, 2009 New Music: Brandy – Bet You Didn’t Know + Supreme
UPDATE: Another new track called “Supreme” has been added after the jump!
I know it’s going to be a good day when a new Brandy track surfaces. “Bet You Didn’t Know” was produced by Stargate and may be from new recording sessions as she’s already stated numerous times that she’s hard at work on her next studio album which doesn’t have a set release date. I’m thinking early 2010, but nothing’s been confirmed. Don’t quote me, because this could also be a left-over from her Human recording sessions. I also just learned that Megan Rochelle recorded this song back in 2007, so I don’t really know what to think about it. Either way it’s a great track!

LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Brandy is such an underrated artist. Her last album HUMAN sold me on her as an artist. IMO, Human was one of the best albums released this year. Another great effort.

OMG!!! I love it and I love Brandy!! I really do think that she is underrated as an artist. Human was awesome and showed her growth as an artist she is staying true to herself and her craft!! kudos to Bran-Bran for yet another hit and kudos to you B-scott for putting this hot track on your site!!! xoxo

Wow I knew this was gonna happen since Megan Rochell sounds very similar to Brandy. But I LOVE Megan’s way better than Brandy’s…even though you actually hear Brandy enunciate her words correctly so you know what she is singing but I like the feel of Megan’s more! I love the both so hey it’s a win win right!

Loving “Bet you didn’t know” it is very edgy and has a nice bounce feel to it. Supreme is real dope vocally! I can’t wait for a new Brandy project!

I love love love Brandy but for some reason I am finding her uptempos very annoying…And after listening to this It beamed on me…she has become so technical with her voice that combined with the beats its sounds so robotic and synthasized…And it is really hard to feel the emotion behind the lyrics…I think that maybe is why Human did not connect so well…The songs sounded great and her voice was very on point technically..But the rare gym I have heard from her was “Second thought” she was so raw on that joint….
