August 21, 2009 Jam It? Or Slam It? Adrienne Bailon – Superbad
Adrienne Bailon (formerly of 3LW and The Cheetah Girls) has been pursuing a solo career for quite some time now and after signing with Def Jam earlier this year we finally get to see what exactly Adrienne has to offer. “Superbad “is slated to be Adrienne’s first official single off of her forthcoming album. It’s pretty decent. I’m not sure exactly what to expect from her because all of her past efforts are completely different. The song’s good enough that with a good video and proper promotion it should do pretty well. If you want to keep up with Adrienne and get the latest news on her album, be sure to follow her on Twitter!
Love muffins, do we jam it? Or slam it?

I like it. I’ve always liked her. But I sorts agree with Kay-Z (Kendra) about the autotune.

slam it! adrienne can actually sing, so thats what she needs to be doing, not hiding her voice behind the tricks of autotune

I say jam it! It has a nice kick to it. And once the auto-tune stops her vocals are on point! I am so happy that she is done with that damn Disney pop music! She can become something big!

NOT IMPRESSED

It’s aight, but it ain’t nothing special. She can def sing, but she (like others) needs 2 def back away from the auto-tune, because nobody is allowed 2 auto-tune their vocals, unless their names are Roger Troutman or T-Pain

Slam it. What sets her apart from all the other Autotune Chicks. This song sounds gimmicky. It’s like they followed a Formula Sexy lyric, Autotune, pictures with TITS in your Face. Voila a HIT!!!. psych.. I’m getting tired of this shhhhiiiii%

Im really loving it right now.
But random thought, I think Danity Kane would’ve brought this home soooooo hard. This is so hot. I wish they never would’ve broken up. Their 3rd album would be off the charts dope.

Not really feeling it. It’s just okay. For her 1st single she shouldn’t have done the auto-tune sounding song. Since she has to prove herself in this new point to te average music listener. Mariah or Mary J, using auto-tune for a song or 2 is okay because it’s not like they do it all the time or had ever before. They’ve already proven themselves a thousand times over so if they want to do it to switch up things a little bit it’s okay. Shes practically a newbie since most folks now don’t know, remember or care she was in 3LW, look at Cheetah’s as nothing but typical Disney stuff. So she needed to go a different route.

If this was Ciara it would be superhot but something about Adrienne’s voice doesn’t make it suitable for this song. that said, it won’t be a “hit” per se but it should do well.
