Singer/Songwriter Ledisi is back with a brand new album. Turn Me Loose serves as the follow up to the super successful Lost & Found, which earned the singer two Grammy nominations, one being in the Best New Artist category. Ledisi wrote or co-wrote every track on the album except for her cover of of Buddy Miles’ “Them Changes,” and also collaborated with top notch producers such as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Raphael Saadiq, Chief Xcel, Chucky Thompson, Ivan and Carvin, Lorenzo Johnson, Fyre Department, and Rex Rideout.

i deserve this cd because i am a BROKE college student who can not afford to purchase cd’s . Also because i am a lover of GOOD music . Lastly because this SITE is super FAB!. Thought some SUCKING up would not hurt. I AM SPEAKING that cd in my hand. thanks!

Abso-abso-absolutely jammin/slammin track. I have damn near broken the first cd and this single promises more greatness from Ledisi. OMG. Is this cd out yet? I’m def gonna go out and get it with the quickness! This is a song to blast wit yo man and them in the convertible along the PCH or here in the Vegas desert and sing at the top of yo damn lungs! I’m feelin this fo’ realz! ((bangin’ head throwin hands up in da airrrrrrrrrrr))

Okay. I’m sitting here perplexed. I consider myself a connesieur of music, yet this is the first time I have listened to anything from this artist. How could this have gotten by me? I don’t know, but I’m on top of it now. I loved this song! I will have to go and ransack the web for all of the stuff she’s done. This is just a piece, I need to experience the whole thing. Hopefully it will be just as enjoyable as this was.
