July 30, 2009 New Music Video: Shakira – She Wolf
Shakira’s new video for “She Wolf” made its way onto the internet just a few hours before it’s scheduled to premiere tonight on MTV. All I have to say is that hands down, Shakira has the best body in the business. I’m literally in awe at the way she moves. I thought Ciara’s cage dance was great, but Shakira takes it to an entirely new level. This is pretty different for her and I can’t say that I’ve ever seen her with backup dancers in a video before. She said herself that her new album will be dance heavy and will have a lot of electro/house influences, which is nice. Even though this song is somewhat of a departure from her previous music, it still has that Shakira signature sound and I absolutely love it.

OMG..Shakira is HOT..I will give her that, but this soNg..hell to the NOPE. I’m just not feeling this howl’n and the whole concept. Her dancing is always superb..she moves like she’s not human at times..lol..but the soNG is just ummmmm….maybe it’ll grow on me. No it won’t..lol..its dum.

The song is cute…danceable/workoutable. Not really feelin the video. I like her better when she sings in spanish, eventhough I don’t really speak/understand it just sounds more natural.

I SWEAR every time this chick puts out a video she makes me wanna go sign up for some pilates classes! It’s not even that she’s a technical dancer (even though she is), but it’s the confidence she has in her own movement. She gets in front of that camera and does some crazy WEIRD ass movements, but she OWNS it so it looks HOT.
I’d like to see You-Know-Who try to jack her swagger this time.

video is ok… but for real, the song is sooooo much better in spanish. If you hear this one -the english version- it seems as if she only translate it word by word… and yup, she does look a little like Beyonce (not that B can dance like her, hell no!)

The video is interesting, her dancing style is unique. I wish people would stop comparing her to Beyonce. The bish does a dance routine and now she’s got one up on Beyonce, HELL NO!!!! Its about a total package.. and let’s face it B has got that. The song is so bad that even though she is killing it I can’t bare to watch it with the volume up much less even look at it again. if you are going to make music , the music needs to captivate you…all the dancing, clothes, hair, and make up is just supposed to add to it.
If I close my eyes and listen to this it wouldn’t even pass my 10 second test…

The video clip appears on the piece when the possessed woman runs to the window in dracula 1 the part is played by the fab. Sadie Frost (Lucy Westenra) just let me know if im crazy. X

Oh please, if we’re talking about total package then look at the World Market, Where Shakira’s fame is more than double what it is in the US. Shakira is definitely total package.
As for the song, it’s a matter of taste. I personally like it. And it gets heavy rotation here in Philly, and I’ve already heard mixes of it in clubs.
And I don’t get how people are saying Shakira’s biting Beyonce…considering that during B’s last album she pretty much spent the whole time biting Shakira, even going as far as making a video with her and attempting to dance like her. Please

Honestly, I think it sounds better in Spanish…. MUCH better in Spanish. The video is super low budget, not feeling the video.

okay so i heard the song on the radio before the video came out and i was like “Hmm Luv the Concept, Luv the Howling, Like the Beat” This is NICE!!! Then the video came out and i nearly fainted….She looks absoluetley amaizing in this video. the Outfits were brilliant the concept was gourgous… the “Glamerous 1970’s type gem cave is a beautiful touch and i love the Caged animal scene(Even tho ciara did that in the “Love sex and magik” video and britney does it during her “Piece of me” Performance on tour) im more than happy to say that the latina princess, Shakira is BACK!!!! This song is almost hotter then “Hips dont lie”…The Song may not be exactley “Typical Sakira” But thats exactley what she wanted to do for this new album so it works…Ill deifnently be picking this album up if it has more songs like this.
