July 24, 2009 New Music: Jay-Z ft. Rihanna & Kanye – Run This Town
Jay-Z debuted his new single “Run This Town” from his upcoming Blueprint 3 album earlier today and it features the amazing Kanye West & Rihanna. This is a much better offering then the D.O.A. “buzz track” that was released a few weeks ago. Rihanna sounds great on the record and it’s so good to hear her doing music again. Kanye’s verse goes hard as well…except I could do without the “no homo” line. C’mon Kanye…I need for you to do better. The track isn’t outstanding by any means, but having such huge names on the record will definitely help it’s sales.

No shade! However, I’d prefer this track without Jay-Z. This song is ok at best, and sounds like they are trying to recreate “live your life”. I’m just not feeling Jay-Z as a rapper anymore. Am I the only one?

b why even post it if it says no homo looks as though your condi\oning ?promoting it. i started listening till i read that it said that cause i was excited to hear ri ri , but i stopped after reading the no homo, it like non blacks say no niggers ….not cool

when i first heard the track i was excited to hear Rihanna back on a track but didnt like the song very much. But That HAS CHANGED!!! After hearing the song over 100 times on the radio i began to enjoy the pop/Rap Elements in the song…RiRi REally steps up her game in this song…The video stills from the video allso look Like PURE FIRE!!!! Cnt wait to see it….You GO RIRI~~~

YES!!! What can you say about a track like this?? It’s an all-star track from the performers to the beat all the way down to the lyrics. I’m so feeling Jay-z’s new singles. Yes people the ROC is back and I’m loving all of it! He made all the right moves with this. Rihanna sounds sexy and in control and Kanye…Oh my man Kanye. He’s always on point. I have nothing more to say. Cop the album people!
