I absolutely love the Thierry Mugler vintage metallic bodysuit Beyonce rocks in her latest video, “Sweet Dreams.” The bodysuit was first presented on the runway by model Nadja Auermann in 1995 (Rt).
Thierry Mugler is also the designer behind the costumes for Beyonce’s current “I am…” tour.

Yes, I love it! I wish she would have included more close-ups of her in this get up for the video. Thierry Mugler actually makes all his robot suits out of plastic. If that was metal I would be a little scared she might get scraped up!

First of all, WHY in the world would the Queen B want to steal anything from Lady Gaga…Secondly, HOW in the world could she have stolen it when her video was shot months before the Paparazzi vid even came out and probably before the video was even made…And LASTLY, how could she possibly steal from someone who’s not the creator nor is the first person to even wear it??

I really love this vintage robotic suit that Beyonce wore in the video. In my opinion, I think that by Beyonce developing her alter ego Sasha Fierce, it has allowed her to take a lot more fashion risks and truly push the envelope of fashion. I totally disagree with anyone saying that she is copying Lady Gaga. It is simply coincidental the two wearing similiar suits and can simply happen anywhere or anytime whether it be in a video or on the red carpet.

How about 2 singles on the top 10 highest selling digital singles OF ALL TIME?
How about how after a year of being a mainstream artist they have the same amount of nominations for a VMA? They both have the highest record of VMA nominations EVER but bear in mind this is GaGa’s FIRST YEAR.
How about having her first 3 debut album singles GO STRAIGHT TO NUMBER 1 ON THE CHARTS? She’s 1 of four artists in HISTORY to do that. And she is the FIRST IN HISTORY to have written ALL 3.
How lame is all of that?
Lame? I think not. Beyonce’ is nice and all but damn give credit when credit is due. Not to mention beyonce’s mass fortune of well over a hundred million dollars with Jay-z yet she has had 4 consecutive LOW BUDGET videos. wth is that? In sweet dreams, they’re NOT EVEN IN A DESERT. Go watch the VMAs online so you’ll feel like a moron for what you just said. Her performance was infinitely better than beyonce’s crap. Everyone has already seen that stupid single ladies dance 300000 times already. What the hell made her think we wanted to see it AGAIN and on a larger scale.

First of all yes I luv lady gaga, yes she does perform exceptionally well but she does not sound nothing at all like she did on the studio track of paparazzi! You’re right about her not sounding the same as she does during the studio track. That would be drearily monotonous. She sounds BETTER and even more amazing each time.
Beyonce’ could’ve performed single ladies while doing something innovative while still maintaining the song’s integrity like, oh umm i don’t know, Lady GaGa for instance. It was just a really cheap and uncreative endeavor and cannot compare to the level of depth, significance, references, and astonishment of GaGa’s performance.
I don’t dislike B at all. But honestly, lately I’m just disappointed.

Everyone, Go to you tube and look for video by George Michael for a song called Too funky. The video is from 1992 and near the end of the fashion show, you will see a model wearing a Theirry Mugler bodysuit long before any one had ever heard of Beyonce or Lady Gaga.

We all know Mugler designed it OBVIOUSLY. The quibble resides in who decided to wear Mugler’s stuff after they saw the other in it. Not that it really matters anyhow. Mugler designs for B and GaGa has been wearing Mugler for years so they’re both basically entitled to it.
