June 25, 2009 “King Of Pop” Michael Jackson Dies

Love muffins, this is a sad day for the music industry. Hit-maker Michael Jackson has passed after he was found not breathing at his Los Angeles home earlier today. The paramedics were unable to get a pulse and was pronounced dead after arriving to the hospital in a deep coma. I cannot wrap my mind around this. First Ed McMahon, then Farrah Fawcett, now Michael Jackson! Our direct sources have confirmed the death of the legendary “King Of Pop” Michael Jackson at the UCLA Medical Center.     I can’t believe it. I’m really heart broken. I may be 18 but I grew up on Micheal Jackson. His music was always the music played somewhere during the family reunions, holidays, and weddings. You couldn’t go wrong and it hurts me to see that he’s gone. He will truly be missed. RIP Micheal Jackson

    I can’t believe this………………………….. this hurts my heart so deeply, I LOVED Michael Jackson SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. He was one of my fav artists of ALL TIME. I can’t even function right, I’m so upset! My sympathies goes out to his kids and the rest of his family. :’( :’( :’( :’( :’( :’(

    my heart and parayers go out to Janet and the rest of his family . I expecially fell bad for his kids not groeing up with their r father. Well i know hes in a better and happer place.

    I too cannot wrap my mind around this. This man was THE ultimate performer, musician and singer. HE set trends and many followed. He was often imitated but NEVER has and NEVER will be duplicated. I will definitely be praying for him, his parents, his siblings and most of all his children.

    Gay, you are right. Folks tried to dog this man out. Run his name through the mud and stomp on him after riding his coat tails since he was a child. Just watch, those same fools will be talking about how he will be missed and how talented he was and how he was a tortured soul. But only the real people who truly stood by this man, only his true soldiers, the folks that supported him when times got rough, prayed for him and backed him up will be blessed by God.

    As for the lovely Ms. Faucet, we all knew she was sick and fighting hard to battle this disease. The cancer did not win, she won because now she is free and without pain. My heart goes out to her partner Mr. O’Neal and their son. I know who it feels to lose a parent, especially when your not ready so I’m really going to be praying for MJJ’s and FF’s babies.

    Michael Jackson, Farrah Faucet, God bless and keep you both. You will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. We all will see you when the Lord unites us all on the other side.

    This sadness is felt throughout the whole entire world. Michael Jackson will forever be remember for his music and dances. I personally feel that his videos were by far best I have ever seen. My heart and prayers go out to Sister Janet, his children and the rest of the Jackson family. May his music inspire the generations to come. We love you Michael!!!!

    Very few people can say that they know Michael Jackson personally, but the majority of the world has been touched by him in one way or another. I know for myself, Michael Jackson a key figure in the moments that make up my exisistance. Michael was there in family get togethers. He was there in Chirstmas time (be it on a belt, t-shirt,or doll for my cousin.) MIchael when I was spending time with my grandfather. He was there when you were learning how to dance. He was even there when you were getting in trouble (staying up to see Billy Jean on Friday Night Video’s.) Michael was there in moments that have built me as a man and built my family in to the unit we are today. His death puts in perspective that we, the children of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s are getting older and closer to death.

    I don’t remember where I was when Tupac died. I don’t remember where I was when Biggie Died. I don’t remember where I was when Eazy-E, Jam Master J, MC Trouble, or even Aailyah died. Wait, I take that back about Aaliyah. But I know I will remember where I was when Michael Jackson died, cause I remember where he was when I lived… he was there like he said he would be.

    I am still at a lost for words about this, as a person who loves and appreciates music I do believe that not only Micheal Jackson was The King Of Pop, but the King of Music hands down, I say that only because he has such an influence in the music industry, from dance to his voice to his lyrics, to just him overall….I really cannot grasp his death just yet only because he was the last person on my mind that I thought would pass and was actually anticipating on his upcoming tour, he is definitely Legendary and he shines through all artists and his music will forever live on, I am saddened but I am a firm believer when someone passes that it was God’s Will!!     Words cannot describe the sorrow that I feel about Michael Jackson’s sudden death. It’s hard to fathom that the greatest entertainer of all time is now gone but his music WILL indeed live on forever! He is in a better place right now so that brings me comfort. As an 80’s baby myself I remember being so excited to see MJ debut his videos. The anticipation was so thick you could cut it with a knife. The next day the only thing people could or would talk about was his awesome videos. We would mimic his moves (moon walk, spin, kick, and grab crotch), fashion sense(penny loafers, shiny gloves and all; LOL!) Simply put he is incomparable. An American icon that transcended his gift to the masses at every corner of the world. He brought joy to people’s lives. Even though his personal life, upbringing, etc was unfortunate and bazaar respectfully and one that know one really understood he was a musical genius. We are so lucky to have experienced THIS MAN, THE MAN we call the KING OF POP in our lifetime. He will NEVER be replaced y’all but at this time share your stores, grief, laugh, reflect, dance, savor this moment as it will go down in history. THE MAN that has shaped and transformed the music industry has left us in flesh and blood.

    Thank you thank you thank you Michael for sharing your amazing gift of music with us. We are eternally indebted to you for your music is priceless. Now, go be among the all mighty GOD for that is the only one who can truly judge you.

    I still cannot comprehend right now that this happened and he is dead. It doesn’t add up in my mind. Everyone who has heard his name has an emotion attatched to him and in this way he moves us all at this sad time. I still can’t believe it, I won’t for a very long time. My King Of Pop is dead.

    It was so untimely and he deserved a better death along with a better life. I feel for him so much because of the unneccesary pain he went through for 50 years, nobody deserved it and he was so strong against it all, the media has never managed to turn him into a vulgar person and he was always smiling with that beautiful Jackson smile. What a showman. He is possibly the strongest role model for me…he kept going through hell in his life and now he’s gone to Heaven, he always strived for excellence. He is always in my heart.

    I pray to God history will not repeat itself in the case of his children or any other human being – we finally need to learn our lesson. They do not deserve to be hounded down like Michael was. Sadly I think he will be more in peace now than he ever was.

    I’m only young (16) but I feel so overwhelmingly privaledged to have experienced this man and his music while he was alive. We are so lucky. Thankyou so much Michael!
