The Dream – Hit It On The Road: In the midst of putting together top notch tracks for just about every other artist set to release an album this year, The Dream also has plans on re-releasing his Love VS Money album. This man is everywhere, but as long as he keeps putting out hits like this I can’t complain. This sex-driven song is quite the club banger! Check out the promo video for Love VS Money: The Hangover which features the song.

Monica – Taxi: This song leaked a while back in snippet form, but finally we get to hear the Stargate production in its entirety. Everything about this track screams Stargate, from the instrumentation, to the arrangement…it’s straight up Stargate. The only thing refreshing thing about the track to me is Monica’s voice. She can sing just about anything and it’ll sound amazing. Monica’s album Still Standing is slated for a fall release to coincide with her BET reality show.

Nina Sky ft. Flo-Rida & Pitbull – Get Up On This Looks like the twins are slowly getting the ball rolling on their long overdue album, The Musical. They’ve been working on this album for years and just recently released the single “On Some Bull…” and a video along with it. Neither one made an impact. This newly leaked track samples Salt N Pepa’s “Push It” and features verses from Flo-Rida (who seems to jump on just about anything offered to him) and Pitbull. Lyrically, the song is a bit bland, but the beat is decent which makes it listenable. I’m not sure where this fits in with the album, but this definitely doesn’t heighten my anticipation for it.

Trey Songz ft. Gucci Mane & Soulja Boy – LOL : ) : Fresh off the success of Soulja Boy’s “Kiss Me Thru The Phone”, Soulja Boy hops on another phone-related track with Trey Songz & Gucci Mane. At first, I thought this was a joke. The title alone (LOL smiley-face) seems juvenile and not worth my listen, but upon hearing the track I couldn’t help but notice that it’s quite catchy (thanks to production from Sean Garrett). The beat knocks a bit harder than “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” and Trey’s vocal delivery is enough to take the song from being gimmicky to cute.

Dream’s song sounds like something he made when he was either drunk, really, really bored one night, or right after he was knee deep in some random groupie’s p****
I like Monica’s song. I think plenty of women can relate to the experience where men think that our happiness is relative to the size of his bank account or the lack thereof. Negative!!!
Trey Songz…. mmmmmm. Too cute but all of his music is too wack! I’d like it if I was 15 maybe.

i think the music on some, except for the twins track, is pretty good. one just has to keep in mind that not all music must have a serious or deep meaning….

I LOVE the Trey Songz song…and that’s funny because Im 25 and you’d think I wouldn’t but its catchy and I love me some Trey anyways. I don’t really care for the Monica song which is odd because I usually like her music…The Dream irks me so yea. And no offense to Nina Sky but I don’t think anybody is checking for them..sad becaus that “No Clothes on” song was kinda hot. but they took too long to come back people lost interest and the latin wave has been sailed..look at J.Lo she can’t find a hit in the daylight with a flashlight lmao

I love Monica song “Taxi” and cant wait until she drops her cd. The music industry is so missing her voice, shes the best and shes so underrated. Keep up the excellent work Monica your real fans know youre always working hard to put out excellent music.

I can’t believe that I listened to that whole song by Dream. Are you serious?!!! This is a disgrace to music. I won’t even touch on the degrading lyrics-I’m at work-I don’t have enough time for that. I’m at a loss for words right now…Hold on…I think my system’s shutting down. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
