June 19, 2009 Jam It? Or Slam It? Rihanna – Te Amo
Check out this newly leaked track that’s supposedly from Rihanna’s latest recording sessions. “Te Amo” was written and previously demoed by songwriter James Fauntleroy. It reminds me a lot of the material from her first album Music of the Sun. It has much more of an organic feel to it than most of recent songs we’ve heard from Ri Ri. It’s unknown what direction she’s taking with this new album, but if she decided to throw a few tracks like this, along with her usual dance-pop numbers, I wouldn’t be disappointed. I will say I’m slightly confused as to why she’s singing about another female. That means there’s a good chance it’s just a demo. Whether it’s a demo or not, it’s still a great song!

okay, believe or not, but i played this song back to back over the weekend, and fell in love with it the first listen! I hope she does a video for this and its her first single… i so love this song, the beat is soo relaxing and it in a key that is clearly riri’s range, yet she not playin it safe with the content and she is returning to her old feel good beats, like music of the sun and we ride. i absolutley mlove this song. know all the words already!
