June 9, 2009 Mariah Carey Confirms New “Obsessed” Single!
This has just officially made my day! Mariah Carey has unveiled via Twitter that her new single “Obsessed” from her highly anticipated album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel will impact radio next Tuesday! The lead single was a collaboration between none other than The Dream and Tricky Stewart.
I can’t wait! I’m sure my fellow love muffins and lambs are just as excited as I am!

GOD DARN DANG IT…LOL..I wish I had never read that on this page. First I hear her play snippets on the radio with NIck, then I hear thirty seconds of “Hate U” ….it’s like a drug..I can’t wait…LMAO. Okay..*breath breath…breathe* I can’t wait..till next Tuesday..she really said that she took her time and put everything into this album and OMG..I believe it. But couldn’t she just release like two minutes of it…lol…or maybe the whole thing now to her registered fans…OMG…its okay.today is Tues. so just a week…between her and Whitney the suspense is killing me…more so her than whitney, but OMG…this is going to be a huge album for her I know it. Obsessed?!! WoW..I can’t wait to hear what that will sound like!

Mariah has never said that she was going to “take a break and start a family.” I don’t know where you got that from.
I am so excited for this song, and her new album. It’s going to be great. Mariah is a legend – often imitated, never duplicated. You haters can hate, but at the end of the day, Mariah is still the amazing singer that has influenced a whole generation, from Christina to Beyonce, and JoJo to Rihanna.

Am I the only one who feel disappointed over Mariah’s new single.. Obsessed?
Heard it on the world premiere and honestly I could say this is NOT her best work. Now I begin to appreciate Touch My Body as the lead single.
Still, Top 20 at least.
