Love muffins, Amerie has finally premiered her new music video for her new single “Why R U” from her upcoming album In Love & War scheduled to hit stores this summer. She embodies a super sexy, hot-like-fire diva in this 80s inspired video. Let me tell you, she wore the HELL out of those pants….I might need to go pick up a pair for myself! I think it’s safe to say that Amerie is back!

I JUST LOVE THE VIDEO, SHE STRAIGHT KILLED AND IM TOTALLY FEELIN THE SONG. GOD I HOPE THIS TRACK TAKES OFF. I AM SO TIRED OF THE OTHER THREE ALREADY.

Wow…she looked amazing and reminded me of Aaliyah in some of the scenes…the song is finally growing on me and I like this sound…wish more people would start doing their own thing and not following trends.

I dont hate Amerie, but, i don’t like this song. It may just be that I am tired of these “did me wrong boy” songs. Still trying to import her last CD that her label refused to release in the U.S. I heard it was FIRE!! I’ll still pick up “IN love and war” when it comes out cause ive alweays found good material on Amerie albums. The record labels choice for singles always baffle me.

The vid was ok. I guess creativity and vids don’t mix anymore…. nobody does a full story or concepts anymore. *shrugs* I still don’t think it was a good idea for THIS to be the first single, but I’m just NOW feeling the song. I hope her album is super successful!

I was really prepared not to like this vid and song, but mmmm..presently surprised…She looks …hot to MF death! Awesome, just grove track…I like that she hasn’t changed so much ..she has a Amerie style…90s beats are back:)

Not trying to be a h8ter, but why does this song have the same down beat as the song that made her famous? Is this her signature? When it began, I almost thought it was the same song. But its cool. Glad to see her back on the scene.
