  How come when Beyonce tries to keep her music videos “simple” everyone loves them…but when Jordin does the same people complain that the video is boring!

  I think that the video is simple yet powerful; it totally encompasses all the emotions I feel when hearing this song!!!

  I think people underestimate Jordin because she’s not talking about how bad she is, she isn’t talking about sex, and she’s acting her age. People don’t appreciate a GOOD person, with a WONDERFUL voice. They’ll call her “boring” because she’s different. She’s simple but elegant and I give kudos to Jordin for staying true to herself first and putting out music that kids my age (I’m 19) need to be hearing. Not about bullshit about how “gangster” I’m supposed to be.

  i like this this is my first time hearing the song. I am happy she step her game up and stop making those corny songs. I never really thought of love as a battlefield but it is. GREAT SONG , GREAT VIDEO A

  @ AJR!! Yes exactly. I agree. Beautiful powerful song by a beautiful powerful young woman. She looks amazing and the video is hott without being overdone. There is a thing called simplicity. Jordin accomplishes that with this song. The video does what it needed to. It was powerful when needed.

  It’s such a powerful song with powerful vocals but the video fell short. I think since she was talking about issues in a relationship maybe there should have been a male in the video and arguing, something like Ne-Yo’s mad. I love videos that paint me a clear picture and leave me feeling like what’s happening in the song is happening to me lol. But I still absolutely love Jordin!!!
