June 7, 2009 New Music Video: Ciara – Work
Ciara shared a 19 second sneak peek of her new video for “Work”, which serves as one of the next two singles from Fantasy Ride (the other being “Like A Surgeon”. The video looks promising and I can’t wait to see Ciara dance again. I’ll reserve my full judgement for when I see the full video which is currently rumored to premiere on June 16th.
Also, check out “Tic Toc”, the latest unreleased song to leak from Ciara’s Fantasy Ride recording sessions. I can easily see why this song was left off of the album and didn’t serve as a bonus track. It’s somewhat similar to “When I”, which was an iTunes bonus track, but not as good.

Okay now I love the way Cici dances, but I must say this choreo looks WACK AS HELL!! What kind of ass poppin gyration is she doing lol? I was thinking she was going to give us WORK like the “fam” does at the clubs, but she is giving me hoochie mama…. but we will see when the full video comes out… ::crosses fngers::

I agree with BabyBoyE3, I love me some Ciara but if she is gonna relate to this song to the kids and house balls she betta WORK like she’s really at one…This clip disappointed me, lets hope the real viddeo comes harder.

@ BabyBoyE3, it’s only a 19 second clip. It’s not the only scene for the full song. There is a club scene to be in it so I’m sure you’ll enjoy that.

Why can’t it just relate to everyone, not just the ‘kids’ or the urban community. I agree with SC.. It’s only 19 secs of the video so there will probably be more scenes because everyone dances to some kind of house music were the word ‘work’ pertains to showing out and gettin down on the dance floor in whatever style is your own. and Ciara is growing as a dancer and refining her craft give the child time she’s only 21.

I hope its not for the “fam” cause it’ll only add fuel to the fire of a long list of stereotypes. I agree with it being for everyone. “WorK’ may be a commonly used word in the community, but, it does not make it “gay”. Now if she said “Work Bi%ch!” that would be a different story. lol. Cant wait for the video. Nobody can dance like that girl.

She ought to be making a video of TurnTables with Chris Brown . This way she can move that damn CD, again. If the label had not changed the genre of the TurnTables she might have had a hit. single. TurnTables sure was moving up the charts before the change. CB fans was buying her CD in support of him.
