June 7, 2009 New Music: Amel Larrieux – Don’t Let Me Down
I just received a late night treat and I just had to share it with you all! Amel Larrieux is about to release her 5th studio album later this year and I have for you the second single from the project called “Don’t Let Me Down”. There’s still no word on a title for the album, or an official release date, but the sensuality of this song is giving me every single thing I need right now! This girl is slept on and I don’t understand why. You all need to get into this!

Don’t Let Me Down is decent. I don’t care for Orange Glow. B, the reason I think she’s slept on is because she’s one of those artists that have a fantastic voice but can never seem to translate it to the music they release. She has a great voice but the quality of her music is…eh…not so much. I feel the same way about Tamia. Tamia has a splendiferously divine voice but I don’t find myself wanting to buy her cds because of the quality of music on them.

OMG-GOSH!! amel is back!!! yay. was listening to her old albums just recently! she’s so gorg! and that voice………..WOW
