June 2, 2009 New Music: Monica – Stay or Go & Betcha She Don’t Love You
R&B songstress Monica is preparing to release her highly anticipated fifth album, Still Standing, this November. The album will coincide with her reality show of the same title that will be airing on BET. The show is set to document the recording process of the new album. Here we have two newly leaked snippets. The first snippet “Betcha She Don’t Love You” is an 80s inspired mid-tempo produced by Missy Elliott. The other, “Stay or Go” gives us classic Monica vocals with production from Ne-Yo. It’s a really nice, straight-up R&B joint.

I love the two tracks…”betcha she dont love you” sounds like a summer track but I think it will be something to ride to in November. I like that idea Glennisha…with a remix with a hot female rapper it will top the charts…and “stay or go” is going to be my new anthem. Stop hating DOB. We love Brandy too. It is enough room in the industry for us all.

B Scoot your the best mann ” I LOVE YOU” Any who “Betcha she can’t” IS hott and whoever made the suggestion of adding lil kim or a Female rapper is even hotter that would be the ish by adding either lil kim or trina and “stay or go” sounds like it could be a nice lil club banger i am feeling both… it is not something we heard already… I LOVE YOU MONICA

Betcha She Don’t Love You, is an oldie, love what Monica did with it. I also like Stay or Go, but I don’t know if it has enough pop to make it popular.

Monica’s voice has layers. Nothing is wrong w/ her voice..its what makes her stand out. I can’t make a complete judgement call on a snippet…but, i like what i hear!!

I loveeeee monica!! she’s so true, and her voice is amazing but since only the first one is still up i love the first one a lot of people slept on mo with the last album… which was amazing!!! I’m still devoted to you man! Keep it coming!
