May 21, 2009 Your New American Idol Is…
Love muffins, how time flies. Another season of American Idol crowns a new king – Kris Allen of Conway, AR! Kris is an amazing talent, but sadly, my heart was set on Adam Lambert. Coming in second is not a bad thing, I mean, look at Clay Aiken (does anyone know where Ruben Studdard is?). Adam will soon be on his way through the American Idol machine – getting a record deal, styling team, etc. …a magic team. I’m sure we all thought it was time for our first gay Idol!
Do you love muffins think this season was one of the better ones, or just one of the rest?

This season of American Idol was the absolute best. Who knew that there would be so much talent? I am so happy that the show wasn’t as predictable as everyone thought and that the underdog took the crown. My hope is that in future seasons, the judges stick to critiquing talent and stop going on talk shows predicting the winner. Also, the talent that they have on the show should stick to performing and refrain from having their favorite idol’s name embroidered on their capes! Katie Perry was truly inappropriate for that. I can’t imagine how her action made Kris feel. I wish all of this season’s contests good luck and much success.

Adam should have won….i dont know what music Kris will do….he’ll just end up int he long list of Idol stars who didn’t get anywhere. Sorry to say..but its the truth!

I don’t like Kris just because he seems to be like other artists that are out (but isn’t that the point of AI anyway, to have someone marketable)?
Anyhow, I am disappointed and relieved that Adam didn’t win. At least he won’t have to sing Kara’s song. Lord have mercy. But it would’ve been nice to have a first openly gay AI win.
However, the more I keep watching, the more I think that the show’s rigged. They never tell us who had how many votes and who came in what spot. Some transparency would be nice.

i absoultely loved this season of american idol i think this is my only time of watching the whole season of AI the top 13 could sing and they are talented and i knew when i came dow to the top 5 i would be hard to vote people off because they were so talented i was pushing for Kris to win because i like his style of music Adam is great but i jusy cant listen to all that screaming lol Kris is a laid back type of musician the finale was great because everyone sounded great and it was funny when Kara came out and showed up biniki girl the finale was like a concert it not bad to get second place i know that if the top 13 get the right songs they will be big in this music industry.

I am addicted 2 IDOL, but this season was DEF NOT the best, Jordin Sparks season was full of talent, I just can’t hear Adam on the radio (he can sing), BUT UGH, that tongue & screaming (LORD JESUS)-KRIS ALLEN is DEF the best out of these 2, BUT his range is limited, so 4 us 2 have him as the BEST singer in AMERICA?!?! I really don’t think so, I LOVE KRIS, I will support him, BUT he is not the BEST singer, I know plenty of friends who will out sing all the TOP 10 this year…BUT I AM GLAD KRIS WON OVER ADAM!!!

i think they are both talented, just totally different types of singers. Adam will do well in the long run anyway…think jennifere hudson, clay aiken.

Adam Lambert was pretty much the BEST this season had to offer & I believe HE deserved to win! But I’m not too sad for him becuz he has an abundance of talent and he WILL make it!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin on the other hand, glad he won, and I wish him the best, he’s a cutie!
Oh and I was SHOCKED as hell, I read this one article over and over before I would even accept that Adam didn’t win, LOL!
