May 21, 2009 Beyoncé Re-Release & Video Premiere!
Beyoncé premiered her music video for “Ego” today via her official website. It follows right along with the black and white theme seen in her previous videos. Visually, the video leaves much to be desired, but Bey nails the choreography and she looks great!
The video will be included in the I Am… re-release. Titled, Above and Beyonce Video Collection and Dance Mixes, the re-release will contain 7 music videos and exclusive behind the scenes footage (presumably from a video shoot, or from the tour) as well as a bonus disc of dance remixes. I’m not exactly sure why she chose not to do a complete video anthology for this album, but 7 videos is still an accomplisment. Above and Beyonce Video Collection and Dance Mixes is set to hit Wal-Mart stores everywhere on June 16th.

That’s not the video anthology…that’s just the Dance Remix and Video collection DVD…the anthology and re-release to I Am…Sasha Fierce will come later this year i think.
Btw, the video for Ego is HOOOOTTTTT…..she always delivers and it’s just amazing…she has an aura and i love the cat eyes and the curly afro.

I think the video is cute..sometimes less is more. It makes you focus on her totally..which the title of the song is EGO so you should focus on her. I think she looks fabulous and as always her dancing is on POINT!!!

ok i love B but honestly the 2 backup girls, leotards, black and white-thing is getting old REAL quick. i would think sasha FIERCE would be more fierce in terms of outfits and videos. i’m just a lil disappointed, i expected more and some color would help too!!!! Plus that wild woman hair can take a nap too. after this tour she just needs to take a break from working AT ALL!!!

I just realized that the piano part in this song is very similar to that song in “The Fighting Temptations” (the one at the competition at the end of the movie)
I really wish Bey would do something unexpected in her videos
The dancing was on point though!

when she does do something simple, people say that’s boring and that they dnt wanna see it.
if she does all kind of shyt, different hairstyles, swinging her hair everywhere, longheld notes, etc, dhey say she’s over-the-top or overrated.

She thinks this is FIERCE!?!?!? The song is BORING! I expected more from her “Fierce” persona. Same sh*t again!! Black and white w/ two back up dancers! UGH!!!! We get it girl, you can DANCE, but this was horrible to watch!
Radio would have been a better summer song. This is song is so forgettable.
