May 18, 2009 NewsFlash: 5.0 Magnitude L.A. Earthquake
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck just north of Hawthorne at 8:39pm. Did any of my L.A. love muffins feel it?
Note: The hills in L.A. actually buffer earthquakes, so you get less damage and shaking if you live in say, the Hollywood Hills.

I felt it! it was awesome. I love earthquakes. I mean they aren’t really good for the earth but they’re fun
