It looks like J. Lo is getting ready to release some new material. I’m not sure what this is for or why it’s leaking now. The rumor is that it may be included on her upcoming greatest hits album. All I know is that Jenny decided to hop on the never ending auto-tune train. The song is nice, but that’s about it. Link1/Link2
Tyrese — Take Me Away
Tyrese has one of the best voices in the R&B game, so I don’t understand why he lowered his standards and did the auto-tune thing as well. Supposedly this is going to be the first single from his latest project. This watered-down sorry excuse for a R&B/Pop song should have never seen the light of day, in my opinion. I know some of you are Tyrese fans, so let me know how you feel about Ty’s “new” direction. After the failure of Alter Ego, I think he should just stick to the sexy R&B joints that brought him fame in the first place. No more gimmicks please! Link1/Link2
Kristinia DeBarge — Gotta Be Love
The rumored love-child of Janet Jackson and James DeBarge is gearing up for her first album, which is executive produced by Babyface. Kristinia’s first single, “Goodbye” is slowly creeping up the charts and now we have her second single. It’s a nice, mellow, R&B song, but nothing spectacular. She’s gonna have to come harder if she wants to compete with artists like Karina Pasian and Tiffany Evans, who are both younger, but deliver better music. Link1/Link2
Jojo — Poppin
It’s so good to finally hear something new from Jojo. Unfortunately while it’s new to us, it’s a left-over track from an old recording session. Unlike the majority of her last album, this has a much more urban sound similar to the sound that got her noticed in the first place. She may be young, but her voice is undeniably beautiful. I’m anxiously awaiting Jojo’s new album, but Blackground is having label issues which is the main reason for the long delay. In the meantime Jojo recently announced that she’ll be attending Northeastern University. Go ‘head girl! Link1/Link2

Kristinia looks nothing like janet so i doubt she’s janet’s daughter. all the songs are lackluster in my opinion

I know Tyrese is trying to reinvent himself but sometimes you don’t reinvent talent, sometimes it is just perfect. He has a voice for pain and passion so I agree B, he needs to stick to sexy ballads that make you say Damnit Boy Sing!!

Oh n B. I highly disagree about Kristinia. He song “goodbye” is playing non stop on the hot100 stations, n shes fairly new. While Ive heard Karina and Tiffanys songs once or twice on the hip hop stations. Shes alread got em beat in terms of airtime.

Yea that Jojo has been out for a min…but I still can’t wait for her to drop something! She is so talented and so underrated… she would sing Miley, Hilary, Britney, and all the rest of these POP girls under the rug!

I am really feelin J. Lo’s song…esp. cuz its personal and relevant to her life…she clearly refers to diddy in the begging and then her current perfect match…she knows what she wants, and its the perfect love with that one person “one love’ love it!

Auto Tune is Cher’s fault. Enough already !!!!!!
Tyrese does not need this. He’s a talent without it. If he wants to use it in a chorus fine but not the whole song. As for J-Lo, her voice is thin at best so she can use all the help she can get but Auto-Tune is not the way either.
