May 14, 2009 New Music: Keke Palmer – Edit (You Out of My Life)
The young, beautiful, and talented Keke Palmer is currently working on her sophomore album. She recently parted ways with her former label, Atlantic Records, for lack of promotion for her first album So Uncool. Below is a new snippet of a track called “Edit (You Out of My Life) “. I love the song and I really appreciate the fact that Keke is going for a more mature sound, while staying within the context of being a good role model and a lady. She’s showing us that growing up doesn’t necessarily mean ’sexing up’ your image. Keke has plans on announcing her new label later this summer.

I love this girl!!! She is such a inspiring role model for young women. She proves you don’t have to compromise yourself to be a success in entertainment. I wish labels would promote more young black artist like her.

OMG I am loving it… she is so giving me a young Brandy with this song! You better get it Keke, and yes she wasn’t promoted well at all on her first album debut, so good job for her leaving the label!

yes, KeKe is working it out on this song. I didn’t even know she had an album out before. SO UNCOOL that they didn’t promote her better.
And I am glad that KeKe realizes that you really don’t have to sell sex to sell good music.

it does sound like a danity kane song…lol
