Love muffins, this super duper hot Amerie track just hit the net! Amerie confirmed via Twitter earlier this week that her single, “Why R U” would drop soon and here it is! Her first album to be released on Def Jam, In Love & War, is scheduled for release around late summer/early fall and features production from Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Jim Jonsin, Bryan Michael Cox, and more. Even though her last album, Because I Love It didn’t do so well here in the US, I’m rooting for Amerie and I hope she has success with this album.

I love Amerie too but agreed…nice song but not a big deal. Doesnt sound like a hot hot single to me. I so want her to hit it big too.

I love this girl soud, shout out to her father Mr. Rogers!!!!!!! It really doesn’t matter she has her own sound and it is GREAT!!!! I love it!!!!

i love amerie and i think shes really underrated glad shes back like the song but single?it gives me that 1thing feel which i thought shouldnt of been a single at first then it grew on me and i loved that song lol…

Loving the chorus and the beat, always loved her and her voice, hope she really hits hard with this next album, she needs to shock the world now and show them that they have been sleeping on her.

The links given didn’t work but I found it on YouTube. The song is alright, I’m not really crazy about the beat but I love her as an artist plus she is from my hometown of D.C.
