May 5, 2009 Christina To Hit The Big Screen!
Christina Aguilera is set to make her big screen debut as filming will start later this year for her upcoming movie, Burlesque, according to US.You already know that her first role had to be a singing role. I guess she didn’t want to stray too far from her comfort zone.
I’m sure it will be Oscar worthy – errr not. Do you think she has what it takes to crossover from songtress to actress?

Well she is a former mickey mouse club member, so she might surprise us! Justin Timberlake has shown us that he actually has good acting comedic timing (SNL)…Disney knew what they were doing back in the day, although Britney Spears and acting doesn’t really go! But like I said Christina might surprise us! *crossing fingers*

i am ECSTATIC about this and have been anticipating it ever since Christina KIL’T in on SNL a few years ago. *for those not in the know, Christina played Samantha in a SNL parody of the Sex and the City finale – it was UNBELIEVABLE* i’m glad she chose a singing role to really get her feet wet in the film industry because it is a vastly different medium than what she is accustomed to. not to sound mean, but i think beyonce really needs to watch her back as other songstresses are really about to get in that a#% on that movie game and show the world just how awful of an actress bey is by comparison ::cough:: ::cough:: Alicia/Jennifer ::cough:: ::cough::

I dunno why I feel like everytime you do a Christina A story that there’s always a piece of shade in it somewhere.. i wonder what the issue is.. oh well im excited for her and think she will knock it out the park.. Christina never half assess anything..

well im exited!!!
beyonce started off the exact same way doing only singing parts for her first 4 movies or whatever, then she moved on and it turned out well.
and im getting sick of my hatin’ on my girl christina every chance you get, get a life b.

yeah! there is a major christina hatefest goin’ on in EVERY facet of the media. i’d love to know what the girl has done to bring on such a constant downpouring of haterd. the “comfort zone” comment wasn’t the worst i’ve seen. but totally a nod to the christina haters!!!
