May 2, 2009 Watch It Or Knock It? – Wolverine

Update: Wolverine made $35 mil on Friday alone.
Love muffins, did any of you see the highly-anticipated prequel to the X-Men series, X-Men Origins: Wolverine yet? Some of the reviews have been less than stellar, but the release of this movie yesterday is significant because it marks the beginning of the summer blockbuster season. All I have to say is that Ryan Reynolds is definitely one of my future baby daddys in the flick.
I don’t know, I wasn’t really feeling it…wasn’t that impressed. Thoughts?
Next up: Star Trek on May 8th. Who’s dying to see this one??

The only thing I need to concern myself with is watching Ryan Reynolds flex and be sexy on camera. The rest of the movie is just filler.

I think I’ll wait to see Wolverine on DVD or TV. I’m looking forward to seeing Star Trek, G.I. JOE, Transformers, Terminator and Harry Potter when they come out.

I loved it. I thought the story was great, as well as the action. They definitely set th stage for some great spin-off storylines (Marvel Comic fans know what I’m talkin about). I will say that I
didn’t enjoy wil-i-am’s performance…at least not the parts when he was speaking.

Saw the file yesterday. Honestly wasnt expecting much, but since I love the characters, I felt I had to see it, and it was well worth it! OMG, all of the man -candy in that film! I took my son and my uncle, and was surprised to see a lot of women in the theater with me, and in the ladies room we sure were talking about all the mens! lol! Agent Zero! Wade/ Deadpool (Ryan Reynalds)! Gambit (I was really surprised with Taylor Kitsch because I’m not familiar with his work). And last but not least, Wolverine (and to think Hugh Jackman wasnt the actor originally casted for that role in the first X-Men movie). Whew! I need to see that again!

Haha, personally, I felt this movie was garbage. Being a fan of DeadPool (Ryan Reynolds character), I felt they destroyed him in the eyes of the ignorant. Deadpool is actually a good guy and is not some, Barocka from Mortal Kombat knock off. Nor does he have laser beams, swords that come out of his arms. None of that junk they gave him. The only thing that kept real on Deadpool is the fact he loves his Katana’s and was one of the mutants that underwent weapon X treatment.
Also, this movies storyline is not like the actual comic.
The effects and action was good. I will it that. And that’s it.
But, I’m ranting. If you like action packed summer flicks, go see it. If you’re a fan of the rea X-Men franchise, save yourself the headache and money.

And also, if they do decide a spin off for DealPool or to place him in up coming movies. You won’t be seeing much of his face.
He wears a mask after Weapon X messes up his face.

Hugh Jackman is on my F.I.L.F. list. He is soooo hot and 4 those that haven’t seen Van Helsing or Kate and Leopold, u must check him out in those movies. Ryan Reynolds is a hottie as well.
The movie is really good especially the last big fight scene. There is a moment where your lyk “OMG thats THE coolest sh*t ever” i love X-men, i wanna see Storm get her own movie and maybe Gambit. although i didn’t lyk the guy that played him. only physically tho. Gambit from the comic looks lyk someone else in my mind.
