April 26, 2009 Pussycat Dolls At Club Pure!

Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts attended their concert after party at PURE Nightclub on Saturday night/Sunday morning in Las Vegas, NV. All the ladies look super duper hot! While Nicole was seen with the girls, rumor has it that she plans on quitting being a part of the group after the promotion of their second album Doll Domination ends to pursue a solo career.
It seems Nicole’s pursuit of a solo career is causing a bit of a rift between her and the rest of the dolls. This past weekend at a show in Arizona, Melody decided to take a stab at Nicole during her introduction on stage.
Check out the drama and see Melody’s outburst as well as more pictures from Club Pure after the jump.
If you’ve seen any of The Pussycat Dolls’ singles recently, you’ve seen that they are listed as “The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.” Apparently, the rest of the girls aren’t too happy with Nicole being designated as a feature. Although their PR rep. says everything is okay within the group, Melody’s actions this past Friday say otherwise. During the part of the show when the girls introduce themselves, Melody began to thank her fans, including her family that was in the audience by saying “Thanks for supporting me, even though I’m not FEATURED…” She then went on to say that she, as well as Ashley Roberts are prime examples of being able to do anything and to “…not let anybody stomp on your dreams.”
Watch the video to see Melody’s tirade and see how Nicole reacts by shouting her name a few times to get the crowd to cheer for her.
Love muffins, I think the future of The Pussycat Dolls may be in jeopardy. How do you feel about their current situation?

i don’t think she can pull off a solo career tbh, even though it’s her singing…it’s the package. We don’t need another pop solo artist we need a group. WHERE ALL MEMBERS SING.

I dont think she has what it takes to be a solo artist. It didnt work last time. I feel like she has a good thing going with PCD, so why ruin it for yourself and for the other girls. She’s really quite boring off the stage and her voice is great in the group, but she really isnt anything special in the vocal department. Good Luck Nicole!

its important to realize that this group was not based on everyone being able to sing, its a performance group. If you watch videos of much older Pussycat Dolls performances you’ll notice a large group of girls with only a couple featured singers. Tbh, Melody and Nicole are the only ones that can sing decently anyway. They are not like (former) Danity Kane and never will be, if you think of Nicole with a solo career, think of PCD now. Without other girls lip syncing background vocals and doing pointless leg lifts over their heads.

Melody has a right to feel this way but, shes going about it all wrong. U dont need to shout how u feel to the audience, like a baby throwing a tantrum. She needs to find her own refrences and networks and set up her solo-thing on her OWN! Behind the scences so that u have a plan B when nicole dumps the group. CLEARLY shes not business minded, caus her lashing out is BAD for BUSINESS, so i dont think her solo career would work, althogh I’d like to see her more…BUT NICOLE SHUT HER DOWN ON STAGE LOL!

well i couldn’t understand whatever Nicole was saying but if the situation IS like that, that’s messed up cuz obviously the solo thing didn’t work out last time. i liked “Whatever U Like” and “Baby Love” but the other leaked tracks not so much. i heard Melody was workin with Timbaland for a solo album anyway. ??

I STILL don’t know who the other girls are……
I liked a few of Nicole’s solo songs, maybe she’ll truly find her musical niche and get a few hits with it.
