April 10, 2009 Listen Up: Electrik Red – So Good (Remix) Ft. Lil Wayne
For some reason I have been completely sleeping on these four stunning ladies that go by the name, Electrik Red! Well not anymore, after hearing their “So Good” remix featuring Lil Wayne they certainly have my attention.
“So Good” is Electrik Red’s third single from their debut album, How to Be a Lady: Volume 1, which was completely produced by Tricky Stewart and The Dream. So far this Def Jam girl group hasn’t had much luck with their first two singles, “Drink In My Cup” and “Friend Lover,” but maybe “So Good” (the entire vibe was obviously inspired by Prince’s girl group, Vanity 6) will change that! Oh my God!!!! I’m blasting this song as I type…. I have been listening to it non stop since I first heard it…. the video for it is cool… very stylized and I’m loving the visuals…. thanks for the remix…. not a wayne fan but I will bump this too…

I absolutely love the video but im not impressed by these ladies. The single “So Good” just didnt do anything for me. The lead singers voice is just not strong enough to sing lead! They are gorgeous though!

I feel you on not being overly impressed… didn’t care much for their first two songs… I’m feeling the So Good song for a whole nother reason….lol The best shot in the video is when they are in the white move something dresses with the paint splattered all over them and the dresses…. nice and stylized look….

I am going to have to agree with shocker on this one. I saw them live in concert when they opened up for Ne-Yo at Radio City. Everyone had a question mark as to who they were and how they got the gig? I am the least bit impressed.
