I need your help! I got my hands on a new track from my girl Meagan Good called “Starstruck.” Yes, love muffins, the splendiferous actress is trying to break into the music industry. Although unsigned, she’s currently working with different producers trying to find the right sound. The question is, do you think she has what it takes? Personally (even though I love her to death), I don’t really feel either way about the track but it could grow on me.
So are we going to jam or slam it?

She has a nice voice but its not the right sound for her. Get rid of the beginning of the song… it sounds strange and a bit amature.

Why cant she just focus on acting? She hasn’t even mastered being a successful actress and now she’s onto something new? She needs to expand the types of roles she’s doing and not just stick to playing the ‘pretty girl’. She needs to expand her mind and then the roles will come.

Oh B! So yeah, like the others, I love her as an actress…but she’s got so much work to do as a singer. She sounds so amature and it is evident that she does not know how to control her voice because she is off key more than a little bit. I would love to see her do better, but I strongly feel that she needs to work with a voice coach and try again. Right about now tho, i’m gonna have to rate it as a big fat FAIL. Sorry girl.

SLAM IT!!! Here’s my opinion … Just because you have a decent voice doesn’t mean the world needs to hear you sing … The Lord gives everyone different gifts and talents and unfortunately I don’t feel in my spirit that singing isn’t one of Meagan’s … No dis to her personally, but it’s just not written in the stars for everyone to be great at or conquer everything … Again, just my opinion …

The song choice is TERRIBLE! M. G. needs to pass on the producers for this song…the song is definitely not cutting it.
As for her voice, in comparison to many of the female artists out there, it really isn’t that bad.
Now, I’ve never really understood why people are so critical of actors/actresses, singers, or dancers who decide to explore other pursuits in the entertainment word…Granted it doesn’t work for everyone…there are/were many truly talented “artistes” of yesteryear who were “triple threats!” Turn on AMC…

wow im surprised, her voice isn’t bad at all.. give her some a list producers and she could sell some records.. honestly I can’t see her doing any more movie roles that are that different cause if Angela B. aint getting a bunch of great roles than someone like Megan aint getting none.. WoWsErS! That was bad. Honestly, I thought the lyrics were WACK ( not origianal at all) , the beat was ok but her singing… MM MM NO MA’AM! She has a nice voice.. no more no less..it’s ok, but not good enough to be singing in somebody’s studio.. and if she sounds like that with all the studio effects..can u imagine how she would sound live. Not hatin on u boo boo. I actually like MG as an actress but please stick to the acting.

I tried really hard to like this song but it was all types of wrong, her voice was off and weak…I’m not saying she can’t hold a tune but it sounds like she cant hear herself over the back track, which resulted in that mess. They just don’t go together theres no flow to it.
I just feel embarrassed for her, Meagan needs to come harder than that or sit her off key whispering ass on the Film set – no shade. Whoever produced this track is trying to sabotage her.

SLAM IT back in to the womb cuz that shit is premature. That was just god awful B, it disturbed my spirit. Haha. Who ever leaked this is not a friend of hers. Somebody close needs to set her straight and tell her the truth.
Otherwise she needs to hit up Britney’s camp cuz they know how to make some hits for any medicore type voice. Shit, she can even throw some autotune on it like Kanye. But this right here was not it.

Oh dear… Just as I suspected. When I saw that this was true and this trollop had a song out, I just knew it was going to be a disaster but I gave it a chance and I realized I was right. This stale song has to be one of the biggest train wrecks I have ever wasted time listening to. I will not…I will NOT jam this garbage today or any other day in my lifetime. Go back to acting, Megan, because you really haven’t even mastered that yet in my opinion.
