Usher — Secrets
How long has it been since we’ve heard new material from Usher? After the somewhat weak sales of his last album (by his standards), Usher’s been working hard in the studio with Jermaine Dupri, Brian Michael Cox, and even Adam Levine of Maroon 5. A new Usher album is reported to be released later this year. I’m kind of feeling this song, but at the same time I feel like Usher can come much harder than this – he’s going to need to if he wants to make a successful return. Link1/Link2
Karina Pasian — See You Later
This girl is beyond talented. At only 17 years old, she’s already been nominated for a Grammy for her first album One Love. Hopefully Def Jam gives her proper promotion for the second album so she has a chance at getting the recognition she deserves. This emotional slow jam finds Karina saying goodbye to a lost loved one. If you’re a fan of hers, it’s worth giving a listen. Link1/Link2
Rich Girl — He Ain’t With Me Now
Seems like Rich Harrison is jumping on the bandwagon and is trying to break out with a new girl group. In all honesty, this song is hot. I’m not sure, however, how this group will do in comparison to the other girl groups that are trying to come out right now. They sound like a group of Beyoncé demo singers – not saying that’s a bad thing. This song doesn’t give these girls a unique sound, which is important in today’s music. Link1/Link2
Day 26 ft. T-Pain — Shawty Wassup
Have any of you been following the DRAMA on MTB4? Que is acting like a complete monkey-doodle fool. Slowly but surely he’s turning into the next Aubrey. Despite the drama onscreen, offscreen Day 26 is making some decent music. This is no exception. It’s decent at best. Hopefully they can end all the drama in time to promote their Forever In A Day album which is due out April 14th. Link1/Link2

I think Usher needs to wait before releasing an album so close to his last one. Like so many artists who’ve been around for a minute, he seems to have lost it and is just stale imo. He needs to prove why he was so successful in the first place, he needs to bring the heat!
The karina song is okay, I like the message, but there is something about her voice that just sounds harsh on a song. I just don’t think she’s a good vocalist. Its like they just picked a miny alicia keys and thought ‘this would sell’ but she just isn’t impressing me vocally or in any other way.
Day 26 are messed up, but they do make some good music. They need to try and get a contract with a different label and leave the poison that is Badboy.

^ co sign @ The Artiste on Day 26. I always felt like Que is the only one acting (out) honestly about a constant situation at Badly Boy… money. Everyone else seems to be playing coy to hold on to not make Diddy mad. Bad Boy is like an abusive relationship sans the Rihanna’s move on and get over it swagger.
I LOVE!! Rich Harrison’s work. So glad he’s bring back the GoGo! Oh Amerie why did you leave him!

i allow every artist i enjoy listening one corny album and “here i stand” was ushers and from the songs ive heard thus far, this up and coming cd will be his 2nd one. and i will not support it. usher need to go back to the writers and producers who he worked with on his other cds.
karina dont do it for me,i like her song 16 at war but thats about it. that grammy nod was BULLISH to me. she got the grammy nod because of hype to be the next alicia keys and it didnt work. i bet anybody any money that this cd will flop also, karina dont bring nothing new to the music industry.

STOP hating on karina the girl is like B said “beyond talented” yall should check her out on youtube she does some INCREDIBLE cover.if you actually took the time to listen to her new album you would understand the hype behind her.this is TRUE talent so listen before judging!

hating, LOL the word is so over used. anyway ive heard her on youtube and once again, shes not bringing nothing new to the music industry to me. now me saying that, you can purchase her cd if you want, i dont care how you spend your money. but she dont do it for me. tiffany evans sing so much better that karina. but tiffany and karina cd was so wack. if tiffany evans cd wouldve been good i wouldve purchased it.
and just because karina can play the piana dont equate to greatness, theres numerous people who can play that instrument. shes a wanna be alicia keys and it didnt work, LOL
