April 4, 2009 Ciara’s New ‘Fantasy Ride’ Album Cover!
Love muffins, at long last, here is artwork for Ciara’s long-anticipated Fantasy Ride, streeting May 5th. I have to say, I’m not so sure about the cornrows and weird superhero concept going on in the first pic. She really is a naturally pretty girl, and I just don’t think it’s fully demonstrated in the first shot. I’m feeling the second one a lot more – the hair is workin’, and she’s giving us cheekbones and face. Honestly both covers look a bit blah – who approved these? Lol.

I think the superhero team doesn’t REALLY fit ”FANTASY ride” .. the second one kinda does because it’s like she’s drifting away to another place.
Anywho the superhero theme is cool and they could make it hot..but the graphics just look cheap.

I like them both, but she probably changed it because people were saying that she was trying to be like beyonce with the second cover. Maybe she’ll have 2 different covers to choose from.

It’s horrible I’m a first year photo student and I can do a so much better job than that with a crappy film camera…
Ci Ci if you read this… lol… fire your photographer and hire a new one preferably me lol…
This first photo just has horrible digital editing and the second one is just cheap and has bad lighting. I wanna see some pictures…

The first cover looks like 1998. The braids and the whole Eve/Ruff Rider look.
The second looks like a newbie photoshop job.
For that video to be so stylish, these covers are conceptually lame.

I’m sorry, but the problem with the shots is that they both look really cheap.
Not to mention, the combination of the contouring around her cheekbones and the REALLY OBVIOUS weave that doesn’t even look attached to her head makes her look like a tranny in the second pic.
Ciara, stop being cheap and pony of the money to hire a good photographer and airbrusher to get yourself a good shot for the cover. Hell, a shot from any part of her Love.Sex.Magic video would be better than this.

BEYDABESS… You are so ignorant, and obviously you haven’t heard the new tracks that leaked from her like “Pucker Up” it’s quite the business and Beyonce is so played out litterally everyone is so on her tracks I hear them everywhere… Plus I Am… is not even close to being as good as B-Day was so if anyone’s slowing down it’s definitely Bey… Ciara looks like she’s just getting started… Please listen to Never Ever it has a great message and it’s a beautiful song that would only work with Ciara’s voice…
Saying that she’s a Tranny is just ugly and maybe you have insecurities yourself but you have not right to say some rude unnecessary things!

It seems the more I see her than more wack she becomes. The CD hasn’t even came out and I’m tired of it. They need to pull a plug on this project period! Usually when she comes out her ish is hard, this time around it seems like this bish is trying too hard. Both of the pics are little disappointing. And she need to let that alter ego ish go! I think the first one was ok but that look went out years ago. The second one is beautiful but its plain nothin spectacular. I think she should give it one more try. As for the album most of the songs i heard are hot i cant wait for the album

I like the new album cover WAY BETTER than the first one. But even the new one can be IMPROVED a little more. Only becuz I don’t really like the corn rolls, but my guess is her creative team is trying to find something that will fit Ci!
I think she should have just scrapped the whole album & started from SCRATCH, but I’m still a CiCi fan, so I’m still waiting on the album!

I love the first picture. Not all the extra graphics. . .but Ciara. The cornrows are simple & showcase her natural beauty. All the rest of it is just meh. The second picture is pretty as well, but I think the hair actually takes away from how pretty her face is!

For youre comment saying “When was the last time you saw an R&B Singer not wearing a weave on her album cover” The last time I saw it was when Beyonce released I Am…Sasha Fierce, yes, that was her real hair, she even said it herself, that all the promo pics you saw for Beyonce (Not Sasha Fierce) were her real hair, on the other hand, Beyonce used fake her for Sasha Fierce. honestly i didnt like either but then the foggy pic grew on me then when i saw they changed the cover and was going with the super c look i was disgusted
but now i like both
becuz that goes wit the theme she wanted a comic book, n super hero thing…and i love that she went ethnic and is rocking the braids cuz noooooo ones doing that, ,but know ive seen tyra rocking the big cornrows a few times lately ,,,,,see ciara is bringing shit back n thats good
