With her last Keeps Gettin’ Better – A Decade of Hits (greatest hits) album not going anywhere and other singers like Lady Gaga encroaching on her territory, she should be a little happier someone wants to snap a few shots of her. Oh – and not to mention Britney’s comeback.

Why do you hate her so much?
I mean out of all the pop artists from her generation.. She’s managed to prove to the world that she’s such a sane and talented person. She hasn’t shaved her head yet and she actually loves her son.. I honestly am shocked at Bscotts negativity, if you don’t like an artist then just don’t post them up on your site! Simple as.
Christina is pretty much the Mariah of this generation- she has an amazing voice and writes most of her own damn songs. She’s mega talented. I don’t always like the way she behaves or how she sometimes acts slutty but I won’t deny her talent. She is probably the most talented of the ‘new singers’ (late 90s-noughties) so credit where credit due.
Her image here isn’t looking good but hopefully her team will revive her before her next album, because image (sadly) sells and she can’t be looking a ham when she’s releasing an anticipated album. I wonder what style of music she’ll do next, hopefully some great ballads (sia inspired soft songs) and some great uptempos.
And Perez is a biatch! He hates xina, she performed at his party but he didn’t bother to post that up on his site.

Everybody here is allowing their emotions to cloud their judgements. Let me break it down for y’all like this:
1. B. Scott did not say anything about Christina in this post. Her husband is not particularly the most attractive person in the world, but really, how far can good looks take you? She loves him and that’s what matters in the end.
2. Her popularity has waned, but she remains one of the most talented artists out there. Her golden voice has earned her record sales of 42 million , 5 Grammys (Latin Grammy inclusive) and albums pushed into platinum territory many times over.
3. She deserves respect for being as bravely experimental as she is. It may not turn out all that well most of the time, but at least Christina Aguilera is doing Christina Aguilera.

yes! christina’s popularity has waned but so has the media focus on her. however, britney’s career was on the downslide beginning in 2004 when she cancelled (not postponed) her onyx tour due ALLEDGEDLY to an injured knee. the downslide continued with a serious meltdown, a horrendous vma performance, weak sells of her ‘blackout’ cd and launching of her circus tour where she lip-synchs, climbs in and out of and rides around on stage props and executes tired half-hearted (dance?) moves. despite all of this, the media kicked into high gear to save her career by blowing her every mediocre appearance into an epic event. the music industry heaped awards on her that she didn’t even win when she was at the top of her game!! people’s choice invented a special award just for her (pity prizes!!!). i could go on and on about how her career is now a delusion perpetuated by the media and bought into by the obsessed fans and the gullible…but i won’t!!!
