You may recall that for this year’s Oscars, Reese Witherspoon chose design duo of the moment, Rodarte. For me the royal blue and black cascades of chiffon were a total miss. Sure, Rodarte never fails to design gorgeous dresses, but the look was much too edgy for wholesome little miss Reese. 

Same thing goes here. Reese was spotted at the LA premiere of her new film, Monsters Vs. Aliens, in a dress straight off of the Rodarte Fall 2009 runway.  Great dress, but too futuristic for Reese. I’d love to see her stick to classic and clean. Boring?  Maybe to some, but if it ain’t broke, why fix it?
