Pay close attention to the above video around the 0:50 mark when Britney Spears wishes her fans “Merry Christmas” while performing “Do Somethin’” on her Circus tour at the Verizon Center in Washington on Tuesday night. I really hope that “Merry Christmas” was an inside joke, Brit Brit because if not… Jesus take the wheel!

^ i really don’t think she sings live. and that surely wouldn’t prove it… adlibs would prove that. I thought it was really cute and funny though randomly shouting merry christmas. i definitely think she was joking. i know i joke around like that all the time.

The only thing I like about Britney is how CRAZY she is! She’s totally hillarious, a complete nutcase! As much as I like to see celebs who stay normal, I do appreciate the nutcases (i.e. Brit, Mimi, Amy Crackhouse etc) because they’re far more interesting. lol

Hi whats up i was talking with someone that was at the show and it was for a child that was at the show for make a wish foundation her fav song was do somthing and from what they said it was a dare to say merry christmas to the child during that performance.

Who’s stupid her or us? I think her and her family have us all where they want us waiting to see what they do. That whole incident that happened with Brit was the biggest album push and promotion there was and it was FREE! The merry christmas the sound bite was recorded around then.

I personally could care less if it was a joke or not. I love Brit! I’ve always been a downhard fan our hers since “Hit Me Baby One More Time” I think she’s fabulous! People have told me otherwise and I don’t care cause that’s there opinion but its also my opinion to think those people are losers anyway
