March 13, 2009 Michael Jackson: 50 Sold Out Shows

All tickets for Michael Jackson’s 50 “final” performances at London’s O2 Arena (capacity 20,000) sold out in four hours Friday morning. Tickets went on sale at 7a.m., with some fans waiting in line since Wednesday. Fans were limited to four tickets per household, with prices ranging from $105 to $1,100 for VIP tickets. Approximately 750,000 tickets were sold.
Jackson originally announced he would play 10 shows at London’s newest arena, but due to overwhelming demand, an additional 40 dates were added. The gloved one’s run is now scheduled to end next February.
Jackson’s last world tour was in 1996’s to promote his “HIStory” album. He’s estimated to have sold more than 750 million records over the course of his career.

you is that his hand?… it looks fake.. look at the flaps on his rist… i must be seeing things.. i looked twice to make sure it not his clothes or some kind of clear watch.. but it looks like an extra layer of skin…
