I am at work dyin right now. How funny was this shit. I’m glad someone spoke out about it. Keri done hit the wrong one. Me and B have a love/hate relationship but nevertheless I am a true fan and own all her cds. So I know Beyonce is a bad bitch. Keri will suffer dearly and least be a real woman about yours; there ain’t no taksies backsies in this music game, she knew damn well what she was doing. Beyonce, Rihanna, and Ciara have arrived and what better way to get your name out there then to use those who are already out there. I like Keri Hilson but she should’ve never recorded he damn track!

What you need to know is that Keri Hilson (not Hilton) has written for many of the artist that you named and numerous others. She has more songs than your dumb backside could search for. I foun(t) it HIllarious!!! Listen, Keri Hilson wrote a lot of songs for different artist but to say she put other artist on because she wrote them is plain ridiculous! A song is just words… the artist singing and performing to it make it a hit! I replied on the posting of this particular song… Keri “done” lost her mind! This is Beyonce we are talking about! CiCi is pretty much done, as Keri implied in the song, the proof is in the pudding! Seriously, even if Beyonce never song one of Keri’s songs (don’t know for sure if she has) she would still be as big as she is today! I like Keri for sure but she needs to chill, this is NOT “Rap”! I would understand if Bey came at her first but I’m sure she is not on her radar! I hope it was about PCD because Bey shouldn’t be in her vocabulary if she is trying to dis someone!

Well, nobody in their right mind would pop off at the mouth unless provoked…It appears that something behind the scenes must have happened that we will never know, cuz were not in this industry…maybe beyonce didn’t give her credit for something, maybe beyonce said something that was very un-lady like for a queen…I do believe when uon top, everyone is waiting to see u fall…but, beyonce is so sweet and humble. At times, maybe that veneer is beginning to crack cuz too many people have taken jabs at her and we hear no response from beyonce….thats usually the behavior of someone guilty of something hence (long pause, silence)
I just don’t see Kerri shooting off her mouth at B for no reason. Beyonce and Ciara must not be as innocent as we think….esp. after that destiny child breakup with the original girls.

When someone says something about me that is untrue then there is no need for me to respond… why would I give them the satisfaction of my anger when my life is fine? True something could have happened behind the scenes, I highly doubt it, as the song is about 2 people… when have you heard of Beyonce, Keri, and Ciara hanging out with each other? Not giving credit? What artist do you know of that mention the writer of a song, unless they mention themselves when they write it? Guilty of something? In public opinion you are guilty whether you respond or not… so why waste your time? Her being quite could speak to the fact that Keri is not competition to her… why go back and forth with someone when you are on the top… this is R&B/Pop not “Rap”… Beyonce is not 50, she doesn’t have to step on others to get where she is! Then you have the fact that Keri said it wasn’t about Beyonce or Ciara, so maybe she already talked to Bey on the subject so they probably have no “beef” between them… we are outsiders just speculating!

however, i do not feel it was necessary to address me in the manner you addressed me. That was very disrespectful and i am not going to judge you based on your response, because my mother taught me better than that.
I totally agree that we are outsiders speculating, that is a very good point.
Kerri may not have hung out with these recording artist, but may have worked closely with them in studio quarters. Anything could have been said in those studios. People are cranky, especially when most of the time artist usually like to record in the night.
In addition, “giving credit” is a situation beyonce has dealt with before boo, so i can see that popping up again. Not saying its true, but it is possible.
In a concert, during the introduction of irreplaceable beyonce, stated that this next song i wrote for all my women….Well, instead of putting her on blast in a kerri song…that comment ended her in court with NEYO, which is why neyo is no longer featured on beyonce’s CD. A song “boys” was written b4 but, because of the legal stint, beyonce opted to not work with neyo.
So, there is drama behind the scenes that we will never know unless they speak up….but, like u inferred, they are not obligated to.

Emman- I bet you said to yourself “wow, I’m smart to come up with that”. Fail! Anyone can write a song, therefore, a singer can write their own songs! Making what a said true! Writers apart from the performers are moot point! Like I said before… Beyonce and other artist like her can sing anything and make it hot! There are few people who can sing out of the phone book and entertain, are we to give credit to the people who compile the numbers in the phone book? Proof that w/o the artist to perform it the song is for not (it would be called poetry the way you put it)… look up hit songs that have been remade and see if no matter who sings it makes it a hit! How many times are you going to hear someone do a remake of Thriller by Michael and make it into a hit even half as good and worth mentioning?! Songs and writers come a dime-a-dozen… the performer makes the song!

Emman, “sweetie”… are you telling me that if singers/entertainers HAD to write their own songs there would be no hits? Come on buddie, think before you come at me! Just because people don’t spend the time to write their own songs doesn’t mean they can’t… Alicia Keys is one example of being able to write a hit and sing the hell out of it! There are many others. There is always someone to write a song… there is not always someone who can make hit record after hit record! The writer in the equation is merely background noise! If the writer was so important… wouldn’t the entertainer only go to that person? I like Keri’s music…. she said it wasn’t true, if it is true, then it’s nothing more than the old “50 Cent ploy”!
