Even though Chris Brown did not enter into a plea on Thursday morning, the commissioner felt there was a need for an order of protection to be issued (as do I).
The commissioner issued a protective order against the singer, saying, “Mr. Brown, you are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.” People
As far as Rihanna not leaving Chris’ side, “she did not feel a stay-away order was necessary,” according to a friend of hers.
Love muffins, I just don’t know what to say right now. Thoughts?

i think its sad but sweet they got back together. she obviously dearly loves him. imo, once a beater, always a beater, but she does not seem to care.
i hope chris earned his forgiveness and really begged on his knees! and i really hope it doesn’t happen again, or they break up on good terms in a friendly way in a few months when all the drama is gone, cos he needs time to grow up and she can do better.

I think nothing short of this boy getting christ in his life will save him or his relationship. I know what it feels like to see a relationship as the only thing that matters,but, GOD will not have that. She was attacked in such a vicious manner by someone who “loved” her so much he almost killed her. I hate to quote Madea but her head is in the clouds. “It’s a clear day Rihanna…land” I dont know him at all so I cannot speak to the things that make you want to stay. You’ve made your decision so now you have to live with it. I think this will affect your career just as much as his. You’ve spent the last two years building up your image as the go to girl for “whats next”. This is one trend I hope your fans don’t follow. Some of them dont live long enough in abusive relationships to go jet skiing in Miami at Diddys house. Ya’ll are HUMAN. There is no VIP in heaven. Get it together, both of you.

Ri Ri loves Chris and right now she is just feeling week behind him. Unfortunately she will eventually leave him and he will wake up missing what he truly had. The best thing. Luv u to the planets B Scott.

You know? I really want to mind my business but this whole saga seems to provoke comment. All I can say is I hope they’re able to get on with their lives and their careers. Also realize that they’re far too young and immature to carry this kind of weight on their shoulders. I say leave each other alone, get a college education and focus on your careers.

The situation is appalling, not because it is Rihanna and Chris Brown, but it goes to show how ignorant people are about domestic abuse, the many manifestations of it, and the thoughts, feelings associated with it.
Not to bash anyone’s commentary, but there is nothing “cute” about this, God may guide the way but it’s up to all involved to get the help that is truly needed so that the behavior which led to this is eradicated…

I’m so mad they treatin him like a serial abuser! this is the boy first offense i believe like give him community service give him probation house arrest something shit… if paris hilton dipsy behind can get out of jail in 2 days or however long why cant they give him something that will be a punishment but nothing too outta control like it is his first offense … a therapist or somebody geesh

I know how ya feel B. It’s frustrating trying to protect some1. Ri Ri has to grow up and learn her own lessons and make her own decisions. It’s sad. I don’t agree with her decision, but it’s a personal one.

As a woman who was young and in an abusive relationship, I cannot stress enough how upsetting it is to see Rihanna take Chris back. She sets an example for so many young girls and women. The reality is, abuse is most often systematic, and once your partner crosses a line, by either physically, verbally, or emotionally abusing you, they’ve effectively earned the right to be completely removed from your life. It does not matter how many times they beg on their knees: action speaks louder than words! Like Rihanna, it was very hard for me to leave my ex, because I was in love with him, but I cam out of the ordeal more fabulous and self-loving than ever, and went on to accomplish so much. I hope she does the same, and continues to shine…without him.
