Now this is how you wear leather. Christophe Decarnin knows his customer well, and he gave her exactly what she wants for Balmain Fall 2008. Skin-tight leather in mini lengths came down the runway, coupled with just a few embellishments like rhinestones and lace-accented ruffles. The best part was the quilting. He took this classic detail (made famous by Chanel) and gave it his signature edgy spin. He has a way of luxuriating ‘trashy’ but maintaining a toughness that can make any girl in his clothes feel empowered. Though people are wondering, “Is Decarnin a one-trick pony?” I personally don’t mind if he doesn’t have anything up his sleeve. He knows how to make a good party dress and that’s what we want to keep seeing for now.

I beg to differ. Its redundant/overpried and geeze isnt there 15 mins of fame over??? Just b/c every know socialite dimwit claims its the new comin since baby jesus does not mean its hot.
ps. I absolutly love the studded rock chic sandals from S09. you know the ones Zara knocked off to the T and had to stop selling
