March 5, 2009 Chris Brown Charged with Two Felonies!
Update: Chris Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos did not enter a plea to the two felony charges. The judge granted Brown’s request for a continuance to April 6th.
Breaking News: The L.A. County District Attorney has just charged Chris Brown with felony assault and making criminal threats (also a felony). The charging documents name Robyn F. (aka Rihanna) as the alleged victim. Brown will be arraigned today at 3:30 PM in downtown LA. Chris Brown could face a maximum of four years and eight months in prison. [Source]
More Details Emerge: FOX 11 in L.A. obtained LAPD detectives’ notes from a search warrant in the case. As per the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt.
Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes.
Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. Brown allegedly told Rihanna, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”
Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.” Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.” According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock – she almost lost consciousness. [Source]
Note: The photo that TMZ obtained showing Rihanna battered, bloody and bruised is mild compared to other photos. They’ve learned additional pics were taken on February 9, the day after the attack, and they are far more gruesome – the bruises and swelling far more pronounced. Man, his career is about to go down the drain for real! Its really sad that if that whole situation that happened in the car is true… mmm mmm mmm *SMH* that is something serious. I still feel bad for Rihanna.
I just hope that they are REALLY over, as opposed to the recent pictures of them being together at P Diddy’s mansion.

For those of u who dont believe what is SO hard to believe ? women go bk to their abusers ALL THE TIME because they “love” them, even after their lover threatens to end their life they’ll still run back to them and allow all the hype.
This shit is crazy & i am so so SO disgusted.
Bun chris brown, if all this is true and he ends up in jail then so be it.

@Sean – perhaps you need to read all about domestic violence and the affects it has on people involved. This person (CB) still has access to her and her family. If someone threatened to kill you and proved that they could, it’s not so cut and dry. Heard the story of the woman who got beheaded after filing a restraining order against her husband for doing the same thing? The fear is legitimate. The apologies perpetrators give are misinterpreted by victims as genuine. Read all about it then get back to us. Or better yet, visit the shelters…

I heard on CNN headline entertainment that it is rumored that there may be a Hollywood intervention planned for her. I hope so because this is far bigger than her. She’s sending the wrong message to these young girls who love and respect her

What’s so hard to believe? If there is evidence (photos and blood), why are we questioning the actual act?
As far as people “looking” the part, what are we reverting back to when people “looked” like they were sick or carrying something? No one ever looks like they will beat the crap outta you. People may look like they CAN, but to carry out that action is different.

I am just so sick of this whole thing because all of hollywood and the public want to speak about this situation if this mess didnt happen at all we wouldnt cared to say anything about domestic violence it just so happen that two young people who are celebrities got into this situation that is bad and everyone want to say something about it i know that its not right for a man to hit women and it pisses me off that a women think that they can hit men without any consequences because they know that they arent suppose to hit them back no one should put their hands on no one period and say for instance that this situation was turned around and chris called the police on rihanna for beating him up what would the public say i think they would call him a punk for letting a girl beat the mess out of him please get real i am a chris brown and rihanna fan and i believe that chris should get punish for what he did and if those to want to get back together then thats their business they have to live with the choices they made not us domestic violence has been going on for a long time and the chris/rihanna situation shouldnt be poster child for domestic violence people need to focus on the situation at hand without celebrities attached to it because im pretty sure if this was some couple down the street we could care less about their situation and it kills me that when something horrible happens to a celebrity they want to start up a conversation on that issue people dont need to to wait to see a celebrity mess up of something horrible happens to talk about something those conversations should have already been discussed in our community because it is happening in our communites not just to celebrities so let chris and rihanna handle this mess in court and worry about yall lives and the people in our community getting shot up, killed, kidnapped and etc.

Well, I’m hoping the DA’s case against him is as strong as it sounds, especially with all the pictures that were taken, because the “rumor” is, not only have Rihanna and Chris gotten back together, but they’re MARRIED!! That means Rihanna cannot be forced to testify against him…B Scott, love muffin, do you know if there is any validity to this rumor?? “Double kisses, muah, muah!”

I read the actual report that the LAPD released and it doesn’t make any sense. It sounds like there were a lot of made up stories mixed in with what really happened. I mean, just read it (go to tmz.com…I know, I know) and just picture the whole event. Common sense will tell you it don’t add up. Again, still not believing the story, especially if the story is true then why is she supposedly hanging with him?
