Mariah Carey attended the Film Independent’s Spirit Awards held in Santa Monica, California on Saturday. I finally got to see the preview of (Lee Daniels directed) Precious, a film based on a Novel by Sapphire. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize, Precious features Mo’Nique, Gabourey Sidibe, Mariah Carey, Paula Patton, and Lenny Kravitz. Love muffins let me tell you, Mimi really shines in the clips that I have seen thus far and she looks like a totally different woman with dark brown hair and minimal make-up! I can’t wait to see the movie! Thoughts? Note: Tyler Perry announced last week on The View today that they changed the name of Push to Precious.

I saw a preview when I went to see Madea goes to jail… and I almost didn’t recognize MiMi, WHOA whatta transformation! And I’m not surprised by Mo’nique’s performance, she seems l ike she could REALLY act… she just gotta work on shaving them legs…. SERIOUSLY!
Glad they made this movie, ppl, ESPECIALLY YOUNG PPL NEED to SEE this! SERIOUSLY!

I think this film will be an Oscar contender next year. Does anyone know when it gets released?
Mariah and every other actress all do amazing jobs in the film! It really looks fantastic

I know this movie is going to be a Box office hit. It has a lot of A list celebrities in it as well as Oprah and Tyler perry endorsing it. I read the book Push in middle school, and I loved it. I can’t wait to see the movie!!!
