February 14, 2009 Rihanna’s Father: “She Will Be All Right”
Rihanna is back in her native Barbados with her family and friends as she recuperates from what police sources have described a vicious attack at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown. The R&B star’s father, Ronald Fenty, provided an update on her current injuries to People magazine after seeing his daughter on Friday “There is some bruising. She will be all right. I think so.”
The concerned father added that he hopes his 20-year-old daughter would “move on” from dating Brown.
As to when Rihanna will speak out Fenty explained: “At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world.”
A still shocked Fenty said that he “didn’t believe when he heard that his daughter had been roughed up. “You think you know somebody,” he said of Brown, “but you really don’t.”
The 55-year-old salesman and designer said he last saw his daughter and Brown together in July. “They seemed pretty happy,” he recalls. “I don’t know what went wrong.” [Source]

Thank you so much B Scott baby for saying all that on your Youtube video. I have being saying the same thing all week and people still wanna give me all these what ifs…I dont give a ____about no what if…she was beat and there is no reason to beat a woman like that!

This all seems so unreal. We all spend time watching these celebrities in the spotlight and it gives you the illusion that you know something about them. It just makes it that much more realistic when something like this happens and you realize they are just as human and subject to “issues” everyday folk.

He is a REAL THREAT to her life. I don’t play that either B.Scott. Two guys I’ve dealt with have hit me (once)and both of them are in jail. One for killing his mother!!!! I pray for her and all the abused women in the world. It’s going to take all her strenght to overcome this. He has the characteristics of a killer. Where ya at O.J.? I’m SOOOOO glad it was witnessed in public. Imagine if it were in their hotel room…. Today she would be in the ground and he would be in a jail cell with the nickname Christina!
