  i see everyone is loving this…and as one of B’s BIGGEST fans imaginable, it didn’t suffice for me. I’ve heard other renditions of this song from other artists that were so much more soulful and pulled at the heartstrings. I just didn’t get any feeling from this more up tempo version. still luv ya tho B

  I LOVE this song — Halo and Disappear are my favorites on her new album — but why did Beyonce drop the key singing Halo live? And she flubbed the seven-note run on “night” in the second verse. She’s usually a top-notch live performer, but I actually like the studio version much better than the NAACP awards performance…

  Am I the only one waiting for her to perform Diva live? As much as that song is hit-or-miss for me I know once it’s on stage I’ll love it. But anyway if I was her I would just be thinking “Damn, Etta James is an ol bitch.” Isn’t this her first big perfomance since Etta threaten to whup her ass. Here she is making history and her idols are acting a damn fool, I’d be crying too.

  I think she’s either crying cause the song is about Jay-Z and whenever she sings a song for him or about him, she cries. Or she’s sad-struck about Rihanna and Chris. She’s friends with Rhi-Rhi???

  in all honesty i’m f’n tired of beyonce and cannot stand this last cd
  BUT
  this performance was beautiful. everything about it. i liked the echo for one but just the way everything sounded with the music, her voice, and the echo, i can see why she got a little emo. some songs just bring it out of you.

  Beyonce,you did so good on this performance.The echoing was good @ the beginning to me and your outfit that brung out your curls in your hair.This was a good performance based on the vocals too.You made the song much more touching when crying.Bye bye bye haters and as Beyonce did:She Shut Down The Haters With This Performance!!!!LOL.Don’t be Mad!HA HA HA!!!
