After Ne-Yo performed at the Grammy’s this past Sunday, he was informed about the alleged assault on Rihanna. He was shock as everyone else was when the news broke. T.I. also spoke with Carson Daly about the incident stating:
“Yeah, I spoke to him today. He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris…I told him this too shall pass. You people gotta remember, we celebrities and we entertainers but we still human. All of us.” Access Hollywood
Terrence Howard states that “Chris is a great guy. He’ll be all right,” Howard says. “And Rihanna knows he loves her.” Insider
Kanye West commented on the situation to Ryan Seacrest Tuesday morning on his KIIS-FM radio show stating:
“She has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time and, in that sense, I feel like that’s my baby sis and I would do any and everything to help her in any situation,” the rapper told the disc jockey. “I don’t want to speak more into the specifics with that situation, but all I’ll say is it’s just so devastating.” Kanye went on to say, “I feel like, just as a person, I don’t care how famous she is or even if she just worked at McDonald’s, that should never happen. It should never come to that place.”
Chris Brown’s former step-father had this to say (the same man who allegedly abused his mother when they were married):
When asked by Access Hollywood if he believed Brown hurt Rihanna, Donnelle Hawkins says, “I wouldn’t be surprised…He (Chris) has to take responsibility for his own actions.” Us

I’m amazed at the statements. “He’ll be alright” “He’s a cool dude” lol. I’m shocked at the level of acceptance that people are showing for him. Although, I don’t think that he should be an outcast, but people (other celebrities) should still not accept the fact that he hit a woman. And his stepfather lol, I wonder if he took responsibility for his actions???

well I hope he found out because it’s been nothing but he said she said rumors and gossip flying around these past few days and everyone seems to think it’s the truth and it’s sad and i`m truly dissapointed in the both of them for letting this get this far

ok people…ive been trying my best not to comment on any of this mess which has been going on. All i will say on the matter is that we here in the Caribbean believe in “you touch one, you touch all”. And brother, let me say, i dont think that chris should ever…ever ever ever set foot on a caribbean island. Trust me, the amount of ppl he has waiting on him…its not pretty.

i’m not gonna believe nothing until they say something. letting this fester does nothing for them, and the media just pumps it up.

I wouldn’t put the blame on any one yet because noone knows the true story. its so many twist and turns in this that how can you believe anything. You cant believe that its all his fault just because he is the “man” in the relationship. Rihanna cant be let off the hook like that im sorry.

People are just reading sites and newspapers and believing everything. We have to wait until things are confirmed. As far as we know they got into an argument, but how do we know how bad she is, until we see the bruises for ourselves.
There just as bad as eachother at this point to let things get this far.

This has really got me scared i mean ive heard so many diffrent stories its not funny anymore but like i told my ppls everyone cant jump on Chris just because he is the male.Only the two of them know what happend in that car that night.All i have to say is i wish them well i really do and its sad that it had to come to this but it jus proves my theory celebs are no diffrent from normal ppl we all make mistakes that we end up regretin in the long run.Best of luck to them both.Hope this ends peacefully..

I don’t think people should be so quick to take sides. If she really has visible injuries where are the pixs. They usually surface by now even people more famous don’t excape the evidence. She has hit him before and the D.A has even rejected her case, so lets not judge just yet. He was a;ready destroying his career with her.

From the 1st time I heard the story I haven’t wanted to take sides…all these rumors ain’t makin anything better, I’ll be satisfied when both camps come out with official statements 2 what REALLY happened! No, it wasn’t rite 4 Chris 2 hit her but since he’s never done his b4 (judgin by no criminal record), there had 2 b a BIG issue 2 spark all this…it still wasn’t a real professional choice though, that’s for sure!
