Earlier this week, pictures of Jessica Simpson performing has caused quite a stir regarding her weight issue. Her brother-in-law, Pete Wentz, jumped on the bandwagon to defend Jessica.

I think she looks spectacular!! When I saw these photos on MediaTakeOut I was like “Go’head mamas!” ..She’s beautiful. The media is so obsessed with the “perfect body” and brain washes us into being just as obsessed that we fail to realize the fact that ANY size and shape is beautiful. : )

i agree. i think she looks good. she looks healthy and happy. it’s sad that EVERYONE is questioning this girls weight. who gives a fuck.

all of us females know that an outfit that may be a slight to small or something that isn’t made for our particular shape can make us AND the outfit look like shit and possibly add some pounds. i do think she has gained a few pounds but WHO CARES?!

as i said before when jessica first came out she wasnt skinny or thin. she was i think that size on that pic or a little smaller. but im so tired of celebrities saying love the skin youre in and yada yada yada when in return they go and have a nose job (ashlee simpson) or have lip injection (jessica simpson) please jessica gained weight and she shouldve worn a better outfit, she looks a hot mess. when people wear clothes its supposed to enhance you, jessica looks frumpy and uncomfortable. and she shouldve known that the media was going to get on her. the media blasted jennifer love hewitt, what makes jessica think she was going to get a pass, please GTFOH.

Jessica does not look like the wreck they are making her out to be. She is a Southern woman from Texas. She is supposed to be thick cause everything is big in Texas. LOL!! Naw she looks great, no shade on her whatsoever. Keep doing your thing Jess!!
I just feel bad because she got boo’ed in Tennessee. I guess they don’t like her doing country music.

i think she has gained a few pounds but that’s NOT what’s wrong here. That outfit is doing nothing for her. The too-small jeans and belt emphasize her rounder parts. It’s the outfit not her.

I think she looks GREAT! It’s a shame the media puts these UNREALISTIC expectations onto these women! And they fall for it EVERYTIME, becuz that’s the ONLY way they can get exposure, I have a strong feeling, Beyonce will follow the trend within the next few yrs. It’s the outfit. It’s too small, not cut for her new frame, and from 12 seasons ago. For a “style” mogul, that’s the problem. And from what I remember her hawking her line on The View, nothing with her name on it would fit her, except maybe her shoes.
