January 21, 2009 Beyonce Performs “At Last”!
Beyonce performed “At Last” during the President and First Lady’s “first dance” at the Neighborhood Ball on Inauguration Day (Tuesday). If you didn’t get a chance to see it on ABC, you now get to see right here! Just beautiful I tell you! Thoughts?

Did you see how she didn’t want to leave the stage, what was she waiting for, for Obama to call her over and to say something, NOT.
My wife is gorgeous! A beautiful educated, chocalate sister, with her real hair. How about that? Got the first Man, not some wannabe thug, women abuser Jigga who don’t know how to Swag now that class is on the scene.

Durham you are a sad individual, instead of spending so much time hating on someone else, work on yourself. Beyonce did a great job and she was part of history like it or love it!!!

The song was beautiful and “cool” for such a beautiful and cool couple. My grandmother was siced watching their first dance. It was like watching newly weds at their reception. She had on a nice dress I might add. Oh and Beyonce was a good choice. She is versatile.

Whatever you guys want it to be i guess… she “clearly” bowed at Michelle and Barack and the cameras were still on her, so why would she turn her back & run off stage?? Her performance obviously moved her to tears showing how honored she was to sing for their “first dance.” Barack and Michelle acceptingly smiled in return and that was the end of the shot. Everyone is blowing everything out of proportion. It was a great song, SANG by a great singer, to “hopefuly” a great president and first lady.

Is it me or do majority of people love to live in Misery. Who cares how Beyonce got the singing gig or how long she stayed on stage. Guess what she Nailed that song. Point blank. Wether you like B or not she killed that song. Leave the hating behind. Barack and Michelle looked amazing and they made history. How do you all even know if B was second choice. The last I check Rahm Emanuel was chief of Staff not the lonely haters on here. I see misery truly loves company. Grow up and stop putting blemishes on a wonderful and historical event.

They did have to get her off the stage at the end.
Hopefully now her and Jigga know there places, singers before the true King and Queen. The hired help, Bonnie and Clyde fools, its all about striving to be a real FORCE in the world, not that soldier shiz, couldn’t even sing one of her own songs like the others as they are so materialistic and shallow. I am glad she wants to be ’smarter’ now, her own parents didn’t care about that, just the ‘benjamins’ good thing the Obama’s are on the scene now, its time for everyone to up their game, Ghetto Bey and Jay included, that thug/ho stilo is so played.

Now I have had recent issues that spark this comment so please just go with me for a minute. First of all, for those who don’t know about television production, there were two probable reason she stayed on stage like that. Number the producer had probably not cued her to move yet and she was waiting to make sure the shot had cleared. Secondly, after the President and First Lady danced, they left but the party still went on and Beyonce was probably still working for those people who had spent all that money to get into that particular ball. My second issue: I got married about three months, and the most annoying thing about the whole process was other people feeling it was there place to let me know what I should have done and who I should have let be in my wedding. That day belonged to my husband and myself, no one else. So when you run for president and they ask you who want to be involved in your inaugural events, then you can pick everyone but Beyonce. She may not be your favorite and that’s fine, but it was never your decision. As a side not for De De, I live in DC and have been working the inauguration since election night. J Hud was never asked to be apart of the inauguration out of respect for her recent loss. The Obama’s being the classy people they are felt it would be inconciderate to ask her. Her involvment was always false speculation.

That song is absolutely beautiful..that will be playing at my wedding. It was nice to see the Obama’s dancing to it, that’s a wonderful song. Beyonce did it nicely but the Etta James original is the best.

Beyonce sang beautifully. I just did not like how she invited herself to sing at Neighborhood Ball. I agree with MyOpinion’s comments. I am proud that Obama is our president, and not just because he is black. I like the way he is uniting everybody and his outlook on life.
